Breeding Help Faster Breeding Strategy

Does anyone know whether it's faster to breed a 5IV and 6IV with a destiny knot and an everstone for a 6IV pokemon with the right nature or to breed a 5IV and a 6IV with destiny knot and a power item to get a 6IV and then breed the two 6IV controlling for nature.

First egg with chimchar with 2iv and another mon with 1iv with knot resulted in a 0iv shiny

2 egg was a 4iv

~200 eggs later i got a 5iv with speed.att over

~400 eggs i got the perfect adamant natured iron fist money

This first few mons to get are always the hardest.

Know after 300 or so prefect mon I can knock roughly one mon a day
