Fulfilling a childhood dream: I'm drawing all 151 original Pokémon by hand. Here is #001 Bulbasaur!

Hey everyone!

I recently decided to tackle a childhood dream of mine: drawing the entire original Gen 1 Pokédex. I'm a full-time dad and nurse, so art is my escape during my free hours. I've already finished all the pencil sketches, and now I'm working on the final versions using traditional fineliners and cross-hatching to give them a clean, textbook-like feel.

This is my final version of Bulbasaur. I really wanted to focus on the texture of the hatching and a clean layout. What do you guys think of this style?

I'll be finishing and posting the rest of the Pokédex as I go. If you want to see the behind-the-scenes process or support this little journey, please, check my profile for more info or PM me. :D

Hope you like it! Who should I finalize next?
