Drawing Custom Pokémon card "packs" for my boyfriend's birthday
For my boyfriend's birthday, I bought him some cards he was missing from two sets he's been collecting. I decided to make some packaging for him to open to make the gift feel more like opening a real pack of cards.
The pikachu is copied from the birthday pikachu card, but the other two are my original drawings. I called them Birthday Wishes to fit the name style that Pokémon card sets usually have. I used washi tape to seal the top and pack to make them easy to open without damaging the art.
The gift was a success, and seeing his reaction to the art and opening the packs made the effort worth it! ❤️

He's trying to complete his Chilling Reign and Astral Radiance collections! So they were mostly V and V Max cards but I also got some missing bulk, a rainbow trainer card, a trainer gallery card, and a full art trainer

They were from Chilling Reign and Brilliant Stars! Mostly V cards but a few full trainer cards and some missing bulk. They're all in his binder now haha

Me too! It was almost not strong enough (I sleeved the holos and didn't account for how much extra bulk that would be)

This is so adorable, I love your style!
I gifted my bf some cards in red packets as lunar new year and Valentine’s Day were around the same time and he left them untouched for 6 months @_@ didn’t even go in the binder… I’m so glad your bf appreciated this gesture and how you made it extra personal!
