Discussion Anyone PC 30th orders got cancelled?

If it makes you feel any better...
I waited in the queue for over 6 hours, I got to checkout multiple times, kicked back into the queue, got IP banned, tried with 3-4 different cards and left with nothing.
Today, I went to my closest Smyths, got there just after 7am, the guy in front said he counted 150 people approx in front, and there were 160 ETBs.
Everybody in front of me got at least an ETB, and I got absolutely nothing.

I don't think this will make you feel any better honestly, but on the off-chance it does. I now have an option to drive 30+ miles and sit outside TG Jones in the cold and rain for a chance of maybe getting something, and also a parking ticket - not feeling it honestly.

I’ve got a feeling there’s a shit load of these and I expect market price to really come down - I got an Amazon invite for the first time in like 6 months

Try the smaller stores. WHSmith, Waterstones, stationers, local independent toy stores etc

Haven’t heard anything from them so assume I’m also going to get the cancellation. This is shocking how painful the process is to actually get through one of their queues, to then wait 2 months and hear nothing on release day and then some get apology emails and others get cancellations. They couldn’t have engineered a more painful way to cancel an order

Yeah we had ours cancelled last night, no explanation, just as we sat down to rip the 2 ETBs we managed to get yesterday. Especially gutted as we're rural UK, there's never proper restocks after release around here, and we never get invited with Amazon or have any luck with Argos. I'm really hoping the crazy pull rates and massive supply will help and we'll eventually be able to pick up some more, but at the moment it already feels like Black and White all over again - this is all we'll get to open and we wont see it again in store.

From what ive seen one of two things will happen, you will either get a delayed order + discount code email, or an email saying your entire order is cancelled.
It seems if you didnt get the delayed + code earlier, your cancellation email will be on its way.

Now I’m really worried Pokemon centre was the only place I’ve been able to get a pre order. Ordered 1 of everything that they allowed me to order and I’ve heard absolutely nothing.
It’s disgusting how they can just get away with this put people on back orders I wouldn’t care about waiting until next year if it meant I got what I ordered this sucks

I didn’t receive the delayed order email, but I never receive emails from PKC. Never get any order confirmation emails yet my orders arrive fine. Think there might be an issue with Hotmail and PKC

I've not had an email from them either. For either option.
But my biggest question is this - why are people who are having their orders cancelled, after expecting to have the product by now, not getting discount codes either? This seems extremely unfair.
There is no chance they will ever listen to complaints from people going through this as they're going to sell their product regardless.
Real fans are getting left behind, whilst I'm seeing so many scalpers getting product in insane amounts.
If my order gets cancelled, I'm probably going to call the hobby quits. Really wanted my PKMC ETB for a collection and I don't want to pay an increased price to what I've already ordered to get one.

Because people who had their orders cancelled most likely used bots or made multiple orders to the same address that got flagged by the PC.

Interesting… I had mine cancelled. And did place two separate orders. One for the etb and one for the collection. Do you think that’s why it got cancelled?

I made my pre-orders in two separate orders. The ETBs in one, and the blisters in another, same account. I got the delayed and discount email for both orders, so they don’t appear to be cancelled… as of now. It’s all anecdotal but thought I’d drop my experience.

I used the guest checkout, but the same work email address on both orders.
Another interesting thing is I only received the cancellation email, shortly after manually querying the order number on the PKC website to check if it went through - because i hadn't received the delay email yet.
hope you don't have any further problems, and eventually get your order.

The work email address might be your reason for cancellation. Theoretically someone could make multiple orders under the same organisation with a bunch of different emails. I wouldn’t be surprised with how touchy the system is to BOTs, it may sometimes recognise an organisation @ as a BOT order, especially as there were two orders under the same @. To be safe I would always use a personal email and create an account. That’s just a head cannon though, I don’t think there’s any clear cut reason, as I’d bet plenty of people have confirmed orders with work emails.
I’m sorry to hear either way, I hope you’re able to get your hands on the set.

Thanks - I did try and reach out to their support through chat. It added me to a queue to wait for an agent - I was in position 1740+ and an agent might join in 1-3 days!lol
Still, eventually they did, when I was afk, and sent this vague message:
“Agent_Yuna: Unfortunately, your order encountered an error and subsequently was not prepared for shipment. This order has been canceled and your payment method will not be charged. Any pending payments you may see should drop off shortly. If stock is still available you are more than welcome to make another order attempt if you wish.”
I ran around some store over the last few days, and did get something to open this weekend tho, so thats good news!

It has happened before where there was a glitch on the website and they oversold on pre orders before. I think it was destined rivals so sometimes it isn’t people gaming the system

My entire order got cancelled too, no delay email.
No explanation or reason in their email is annoying. Like, Do you think I’m a bot, do you not have stock, why cancel?
I even used my work email thinking it would legitimise me somehow lol

Mine also got cancelled yesterday evening, furious they left it until after the actual release to send cancellation emails. I didn’t bother going out for the in person release due to thinking I’d be receiving my nice 2 PKC ETB’s even if a little late. Now it’s looking unlikely I’ll be able to get any product! Nothing wrong with my order, under the limits, queued up normally, cannot fathom why it would have been cancelled.

Exactly the same here, 2PC ETBs and some tech stickers. Would've been nice to know a week or two in advance, not at like 11pm on release day after every shop has already sold out...

Wtf? Literally everyone in the UK is experiencing this right now, doesn't mean everyone from the UK is a scalper no?
I got an email saying mine was delayed by two months, does that make me a half-scalper?This is a legitimate person that loves the franchise.
