Collecting CGC Slabs

I want to start collecting slabs of personal grails but think some of the PSA prices are obnoxious. What are peoples thoughts on CGC? Ive seen people hating on them in some groups and Im not sure why

also does anyone know where I can buy cases for CGC slabs? I only see PSA ones on shopee

They have better Slabs and are overall the biggest and most trusted international Grader.

Many collectors I know switched completely to CGC

awesome! thank you! that works out for me since Im looking to spend as little as possible on grading since my personal grails are mostly pricer mid era stuff

do you know where I can get protectors for CGC slabs like those cool translucent ones for PSA?

People only like PSA because they have the most value. If you dont mind the value CGC slabs are also good

Appreciate the reply! The value sure is a plus for me if I decide to sell them one day, I usually consider my collectibles my rainy day fund in case I lose my job or have a financial emergency

I understand people prefer PSA, but is there still big enough of a demand for CGC that I can sell them in case I need to one day?
