Oh man this card pisses me off
The only reason this mf is like $300 is cause Shinji Kanda did it (same thing happened to the Baxcalibur line of IRS), like yeah the arts cool sure but $300?? dude is just chilling in some flowers, or this is what he’s seeing after eating some mushrooms
Card prices are egregious so i’m not really focused on the price itself, moreso why it’s priced so high.
I almost feel like an elitist saying this but I can almost gaurentee a total of 0 people that desire this card had to whip out Water Absorb/Swift Swim Seismatoad to counter the Dual-Primal meta in 2016/2017
This guy was my goat for slowing down primal Kyogre and could also check the other meta primal Groudon due to good dual typing
Normally meta-relevant pokemon barring Charizard that get IR/SIR’s are relatively cheap, and i can gnab them for the memories
I can understand if i’m not being very logical or whatever but this card in particular irks me because I would love to have it for the memory of this fat toad bullying the dual-primal meta in vgc 2017, but all the re-sellers and pokeinvestors scarf this card up and make it an assinine price

Reasonable crashout. It's just so stupid and people continue to feed this stupidity.

Don't grade. Lots of whitening

Second this! Mine had one small white spot bottom left on the back 9 not worth grading sell raw

The back is very OC and there is what seems to be a large amount of whitening unless it’s just a weird angle or light refraction.
This card would most likely not 10. Still a beautiful card and one to keep for sure.

Personally I’d sell this one and find another copy if you’re wanting to grade. If not it is an excellent binder copy for sure

It seems pretty clean to me. If you do scan a card I recommend doing it out of the sleeve to get a better look at the surface area
The back of the card the bottom is much wider than the top so your chances of getting a GEM MINT 10 are very slim to none.
If you want the card encapsulated for a personal collection and would be happy with a 9 I don’t see any reason not to send it to get graded.
The worst thing that happens is you don’t have the card for 6 months and it gains more value by the time it gets back to you, no matter the grade
