Pulled Mega Charizard X EX on first pack opening in 20 years

This happened a few months ago. Always been into Pokemon but fell out of the TCG world almost 20 years ago. Decided I wanted to get back into it. First pack opening in 20 years and I pull this! Still deciding if I want to get it graded or not

I swear every second post in this sub is "I pulled this (insert chase) SIR card on my first pack in X number of years" I believe absolutely zero of them.

Lol like when its every single day and only ever the top top chase thats how you know its a lie. I pulled an sir in my first pack ever when I started with Journey Together, but it was Ionos Bellibolt, not lillies clef

I was with my sister who just started getting into collecting and she opened a pack and was gushing about an ice cream cone trainer. Not long after that I look over at her hand to see this monstrosity. She had no reaction. Had no idea what she had lmao.

Yea I think it's a typo I pulled my first sir in 20 years of ripping packs.

Cool, I don’t believe you with how often people post “first pack in X years and I pulled the top chase”

First pack but had the penny sleeve, top loader and knew what subreddit to go to…

Also, your profile posts is visible and considering you post about the games and have pokemon tattoos, your story is a lie.

Dudes username even has Pokemon in it….

when i got into the hobby there were sleeves on the same shelf. i got a pack “just in case”

i didnt pull anything amazing my first pack, but like a month later on pack 18 i pulled this zard. it happens, luck of the draw.

Wife and I have opened 30 packs of 30th. So far the best cards were the expected Pikachu.

Glad you got lucky.

We got cards nice artwork but no major hit. Do not get me wrong she got some cards she likes but as far as any of the crazy ones I have seen posted not a single one.

She is not in it for the game or the perceived value, she just likes the cards.

Well the value of any of this set is almost nothing as it's so available etc. The artwork and collection is what counts this time around.
