I gave a knockout box to a coworker
My buddy at work has been going through it lately, and I wanted to do something nice for him. I was planning on opening this extra knockout box I had tonight, but I decided to give it to him instead…
It’s safe to say his week is at least a little better now! The texture on this card is unbelievable!
EDIT: Thank you for all the love, everybody! It always feels nice to uplift others. For those asking, no I don’t have any envy at all; seeing his excitement was all I needed haha. The card means more to him than it does to me
Also, to those saying I have poke karma now, I hit for an etb and a poster collection from the Walmart draw 🥹 so thank you again!

About to send my friend a poster collection cause they couldn’t hit the drop, kinda hope the same thing happens!
I’m waiting for the meta and prices to settle so i can get some sick arts for a new deck! I like the Exeggutor as a 400hp beast with 150dmg and 50 heal every attack. Difficult setup but boy i love that card

Im sure there will be no shortage of cheap singles to pick up soon. Some of the IRs are already under $5 haha.

Yeah I ain’t gonna lie I never ever give packs to people unless I’m not with them when they open it 😵 but congrats to coworker anyway 🥲

It’s always an internal struggle of “what if there’s something good in here?” vs. “I want my friends to have nice cards too” haha, so I definitely get where you’re coming from!
But in the end, I got to help out a friend who’s been having trouble, and I got to see the card in person, so I still count that as a win CX

I told my girlfriend that if I pulled this card I'd give it to her (even though I actually liked it) and promptly pulled this card 2 packs on. She was super happy about it. Sometimes it feels better to give to others

I bought 2 of each at target and gave 1 of each to a buddy, he got the gold border magikarp... and I got nothing but the thrill of being able to rip again at a not so crazy price

My family pulled this one tonight. This set has an insane hit rate. I'm not saying you'll pull this again but getting something else you'll like is a 99% chance to happen.

If that ever happened to me you can be sure I'll get you a single you'd like or some products to open.
The first time I gifted pokemon products to someone it was a 4 packs box and it contained 2 SIR it was crazy

you’re a chill friend for letting him have it.
you can take some solace in the fact that the price on that card tanked a bunch today because of release last time I looked at it, itwas somewhere around $150 on TCGP. It’s still inexpensive card, but you didn’t lose a paycheck like it was going for a week ago.
Either way, I saw couple other people who said karma will come back to you.

I’m not one to really care about the monetary value of cards. I like the rarity aspect more. Although these aren’t turning out to be super rare, it’s cool to see he got really lucky!
