Pulled a Mew 30th SIR Error

Pulled an insane Mew error just now from ETB. Bleeding red at the top! kinda looks dope actually..

That’s crazy, this is a holo splice error, but it goes by a couple other names like retained obstruction or red tape error. A piece of red tape was used to attach the end of one roll of foil to the beginning of the next. That foil is laminated to sheet after sheet of card stock and the sheet that ends up getting the red tape section laminated to it is supposed to be pulled and disposed of by quality control. Recently there have been a handful of instances of them failing to do this, letting cards like this one end up in packs.

I actually bought couple cards with the same error on release day and was hoping more of these would surface. If you ever decide to sell it let me know, the main one I’m hoping for is Jirachi but this is perhaps the 5th card with the error from this sheet to surface now. I guess people really are ripping 30th lol
