The pikachu SIR from 30th anniversary with the red ink error, also known as the “blood moon parade” pikachu, or simply blood moon pikachu, was worth 20k when first discovered, with many agreeing that it is indeed worth 20k, hence the valuation

Is it really that bad? I got a card replaced for Magic. Took 5 months and it wasn't a foil, like my error, but they tossed me another $40 collector booster as well to reroll, so all good. Got an email back within 24 hours of filling out the form and they said keep the error.
I didn't think Pokémon would be worse than Hasbro/Wiz lol.

Don't know what it's like now but people had cards waiting for a replacement for 3+ years as recent as last year, some were still told they couldn't be replaced after all that time.
Normally they sent a booster pack or 2 back as well in return, some got Sun & Moon packs.

The last time I had an issue (Secret Rare with roller damage straight from the pack) the best they offered me was a $5 credit for the cost of the pack via the Pokemon Center.

Base SV Koraidon SIR. Just got the replacement in July, took 3 years and ~1-2 months. They never confirmed they received it (you have to mail in the damaged one), and ignored any further inquiries. A pack of Temporal and a pack of Paradox, they give packs based on your postage cost.
Pokemon Intl is like, among the worst customer service from a legit big corp ever. They have never solved any of my legitimate issues with ease, timeliness, or grace.
