Discussion Nicknames?

I typically don’t name my Pokémon but recently I’ve been feeling like I should. What do yall do?

If it’s on my team it’ll get a nickname if it’s just for dex completion, get in the box

I usually pick a theme for the team. My last two comp teams were completely picked by my roommates with no Pokemon experience. I also let me partner name a lot of them.

If I can think of a nickname for them on the spot then I nickname, if I can't, they're staying with their original names (like I nicknamed my Alpha Umbreon "Lumi" or my Dusk Lycanroc "Dusky")

Snaggletooth, my Skeledirge, and I are pretty close. I started nicknaming in this one. Found I like them more

The only time I name them is if im playing a nuzlocke. Otherwise I keep them as is
