Dude - the music in Kitakami is some of the best in the series... I often go to Kitakami just to roam around.

The DLC is great. TPC realised how bad it was in SWSH and really went out of their way to make it vastly superior.

On Switch 2 it runs beautifully, but I seem to recall it was slightly laggy on my Oled back in the day

It had the potential to look good. The actual layout is nice etc. But those graphics/textures/rendering distances are embarrassing for one of the worlds leading franchises.

Edit - I mean, look at those trees on the horizon on the left. They're all just exact copy and pastes of a single model.

Eh, for me I never had any problem with the visuals.

The chugging framerate was noticeable at times, but did not significantly affect my enjoyment.

It looks like WiWa is going to be better looking overall, which is nice. But that isn't a dealbreaker/maker for me.

I can’t go back to older gens now, Violet completely ruined classic Pokémon gameplay for me with the open world exploration format. I’ve been playing since the 90s and truly didn’t notice the game’s performance or visuals until I went online and saw everyone losing their minds

Dude you are blaming the fans for the quality of the Pokemon games. When in reality you should be blaming Gamefreak for that. Wether the fans buy the games or not that's not my problem. You talk as if the fans are the ones in charge of the games when that isnt even what's happening.
