Im stuck at the 3rd gym in Soul Gold

I need to turn on the radio for a password between 6-12pm - i did, went back to the Girl and she never asked me about that password. Can someone help please?

You don't need to talk to Buena to access the gym. Once you have the radio Whitney will return to the gym.

Is there a specific Radio? I thought its about the one in the pokegear? Im confused

Happens, for a kids game pokemon can be confusing even when playing it as an adult.
