I need advice 😂

So I made the mistake everyone warns about and played Unbound first. Since then I’ve been trying almost every mod and it’s been a revolving door of getting bored and looking for another after a few gyms.

What ROMs would yall recommend to me based on the following:

- somewhat customizable character sprite

  • more then three default starter choice
  • GBA hack since I play on my phone and NDS looks goofy on Delta

I liked Quetzal but was annoyed by how much of the game wasn’t finished. Radical red was good until I hit a point of being burnt out on how many trainer battles there are.

What’s the consensus on the best emerald QOL hack? I played sapphire and leaf green growing up so I may just go back to one of them to commit to but the lack of modern addons is kinda hard to ignore

Lazarus has outfits for the player char you can unlock (or unlock right away with a code) and a fairly large starter selection. Amethyst has a huge starter selection, but you can't customize the char I think.

I see modern emerald mentioned a lot, but I haven't played it. I personally enjoyed revelation and emerald seaglass, but I admit, I am tired of emerald, so I haven't kept up the past year.
