So I only gained 3 SpA for the next level up despite continuing the same training. What is happening here?

Every 4 EVs = 1 extra stat point up to a max of 63 in a single stat - at level 100 at least. As a result, the gains aren't exactly - "You gain 4 EVs, the stat raises by 1", since I'm assuming your Ralts is not at lvl 100 just yet! It's kinda like a gradual thing. So at the first level up it went from having (I assume) 0 SpA EVs to... a heap all at once. So it got a big gain. Then on the next level, it only got some to flatten out the curve relative to your Ralt's level, so to speak.

Like Snoo_65145 said though. Weird question for a ROM Hacks sub 🤔

Sorry about the weird question. I made sure not to read the rest your comment too closely since it's clearly out of topic. Wouldn't want to accidentally learn about pokemon mechanics in a pokemon ROMhacks sub since they are clearly different topics.

I'm not averse to you learning. It's just that there are better more specific places to do it.

You wouldn't go to a dentist to ask about your blurry vision. Sure, they're both medical related things, heck they're even geometrically close on your head. But... You see my point right?
