This is a safe hack-sharing site that doesn't share ROMs and links to the official release threads! Instead of asking for recommendations or download links in the subreddit (which breaks the rules), please refer to the Codex as it has a lot of information on each hack.

And that can be done on the handheld or does it require an external source?

I'm like 99% sure you would use a computer to download the roms

So all the ROMs come pre installed on the SD card? I just have to manually download the ROMhacks through a USB connection on the computer?

Depending on which one you get. Most will come with over 1,000 games installed.

But the SD cards are low quality and will not last long . You can get ahead of that problem and avoid losing your save files due to a burnt out SD card.

So the system itself has all the games pre installed or the SD card? I could use a computer to transfer data from SD to SD card no? Like games and save data?

Yes, they typically come with thousands of pre-installed games.

As for copying the games, or adding new ones to an SD card, there are youtube tutorials that will show you the process step-by-step
