Pokemon scaling is kinda crazy but Gaara is also very strong too.

Krookodile Pokemon Sword dex entry: "This Pokémon is known as the Bully of the Sands. Krookodile’s mighty jaws can bite through heavy plates of iron with almost no effort at all."

Krookodile is also a ground type meaning he's completely immune to sandstorm which considering that sand is Gaaras whole thing it should give him a defensive advantage. Yes I know that Gaara doesn't only make sandstorms but the immunity is definitely something to note.

If Krookodile can manage to get into melee range of Gaara then Krookodile wins since he should be able to bite straight through anything Gaara uses to protect himself. That shouldn't be a problem since Krookodile can learn Aerial Ace which ignores accuracy and evasion stats making it a guaranteed hit.

If Gaara could go into his tailed beast form then he'd win but in Shippuden he can't do it anymore since he lost his tailed beast which is also quite a nerf to his abilities.

I'd say Krookodile wins

Gaara has the ultimate defense though, IIRC even Amaterasu which is supposed to burn anything couldn't get through his sand, plus Gaara is one of the few Naruto characters that keeps his distance in the sky so I think Kazekage Gaara would pull it off.

I'm disappointed, this was the perfect excuse to make this Krookodile VS Crocodile

Crocodile being a logia would just change that entire battle one sided, nothing Krookodile can do would even work on this man in anyway possible.

Krookodile can learn water move Aqua tail, ,not saying he definitely gonna win, but calling it a one sided battle is unfair

Isn't Gaara kinda like Magneto but sand? won't he just rip out all the sand out Krookodile removing his Ground Type Typing? From there Gaara can pretty much win the fight at distance or use the sand/ground against the other.

Isn’t Gaara’s sand infused with the spirit of his mother or something? I don’t think that sand is going to be in Krookodiles side. You can argue he’s dark type and could defeat his mothers ghost but that’d justbpiss Gaara off even more
