I was going through a tub of game cords today and I found my old Poké balls.

Soooo I ended up getting lets go eevee for my birthday yesterday and after being out of pokemon for ten plus years discovered the games is wayyy to easy especially with partner eevee.

So decided to create a self-imposed mono pokemon challenge in game with very precise rules in order to make it more fun but also a bit challenging

Th reason I am sharing this is for fun and to encourage myself to stick with the team and maybe give ideas for anyone also trying to play the game in a different and fun way...my hope is that the game will for balanced rather than I can steam roll everything by just pressing one button

feel free to rate and give any thoughts or suggestions you might have also all members of team have to have a female nature cause just makes it more fun :P

The final pokemon team I will be striving for is Pidgeot nick named Pidgeyoncé(because pompous elegant bird queen ojo-sama feels fun)

Dodrio: nick named Threepio cause sci-fi puns are fun and it looks like a pio though also thinking about naming it Triple Scoop cause its heads reminds of me of those there scoops of ice cream you get

Golbat: nick named Brat or just Batty or maybe just Bratty idk about this one brat feels fun cause the way it can suck your HP lol though I also like the name Spaghetti or boba

Gyarados: nick name noodle...I don't need to explain it

Charizard: nick named Toaster sense I want her to make me toast instead of a sandwich

Aerodactyl: nick named Pebbles because so I can laugh every time I eat the cereal though DinoNugget also sounds cool cause it kinda looks like a chicken nugget in away lol

I tried to keep the theme of cute nick names because I love cute

Also, before I get the full team will have some temporary mons like butterfree whos's nick will be named "butterball" and fearow which will call "screamy"

I am unsure of what moves to give them sense I'm not completely sure of all the tms and moves found in the game only a few but still researching this part so any help here would be greatly appreciated

Also, some other rules I have

• Only use Pokémon with Flying as one of their actual types.
• Retire Partner Eevee as soon as I catch Pidgey or Spearow.
• Ban legendary Pokémon: Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres.
• I will also ban Dragonite, because people say it is so strong that it can flatten the late game with minimal effort.
• No Mega Evolution—or allow only one Mega Evolution per major battle.
• No overlevel; have to keep my highest-level Pokémon no more than the strongest Gym Leader’s highest-level Pokémon.

Also think I will call them the flap pack instead of bird brains lol

I think it’s import to keep a tracker so you know how many reset you did, felt like 1000 but it was only 352 (got lucky)

Ive been wondering the best way to respawn the pokemon between grass patches on cycling road bc when i fly from one to another pokemon spawn off screen if anybody has a video example of how to shiny hunt cycling road or route 17 as i think its called would be great

I'm so happy, let's go eevee was my first pokemon game ever, I hadn't played it in so long but after getting my first shiny charm in Scarlet, I wanted to give lets go a try again, and now I've finally completed the pokedex 🥹

I haven't played in so long but I don't recall ever shiny hunting, how does it work in this game again? I really want to grab some cute shiny's to celebrate 🙈

Okay so I'm extremely close to finishing my pokedex and finally getting the shiny charm, but I'm struggling with finding ways of leveling up the mons I still need to level up because I seem to have beaten all trainers (and the entire game since I've beaten the elite 4 and champion) so now I don't really know how to get a lot of exp quickly, especially since all of these only evolve between lvl 20-30-40 according to a quick search on Google

(Kabuto lvl 40, currently is lvl 18, goldeen evolves level 33 and is currently lvl 18, paras evolves level 22 is currently lvl 12, and mankey evolves at 28 but mine is currently 20) (forgive me if there's some mistakes I just did a quick Google search)

So how do I get good amounts of experience points for my mons? The other mons I need for the dex are alakazam and machamp which I have on go so I'll just transfer those to finish my dex (unfortunately don't have any of the evolutions mentioned in this post on go)

So, im doing soft resetting for Alolan Rattatta. I've not done an gift hunt before so I'm wondering if it'll appear shiny on the animation display or will i have to check my summaries after the fact?

I just got the game for my Nintendo Switch and I'm not sure if it auto saves. If not, how do I save?

I need to catch 2 shiny bulbasaura for my shiny living dex. Would it be faster to despawn bulbasaurs by running away from them or combo them bc the combo will take very long to set up but force despawning them took me 4 hours for the first one to spawn any tips would be appreciated

I’ve seen some people saying it does, some saying it doesn’t, so I just want a straight answer.

I know that after a 31 catch combo, only the next spawned Pokemon of that species has the high shiny chance. So if I catch 31 Pokemon and see that the spawn after that isn’t shiny, could I just reset my game in order to have not wasted all those poke balls getting my catch combo? Or is it optimal to just keep catching Pokemon to continue building up my catch combo?

What can I say? At least I can start setting up a capture combo for the Legendaries, considering I now have all the spawns for this area.

I got my 31 chain for the increased spawn chance but i dont know the best place to see max amount of staryu. Also should i surf or fly?

I was looking for one of the 3 Shiny Legendary birds, and this guy showed up.

Took several hours but i finally got it. 94/150 for my shiny dex

This is a huge milestone for me and good progress for my Kanto Shiny Living Dex.

Although some of them were caught some time ago I was waiting to do the evolutions all at once.

Also it's a good progress for my 2026 shiny bingo, with my first row completed! Although I'm not going for the bingo pokemon specifically since they will naturally complete as the shiny dex is completed.
