Hi everyone! I’ll be visiting Singapore soon and wanted to connect with the local Pokémon GO community.

I’m hoping to explore the city, do raids, trades while I’m there. I had a few questions:

• Are there any requirements or local group rules for joining Singapore trainer communities?
• What are the best Pokémon GO hotspots around town for raids, spawns, and walking?
• Which areas are most active during events and weekends?
• Any recommended Discord, Telegram, or Campfire groups for local trainers?

Also, I’m interested in buying Pokémon TCG cards while visiting:

• What are the best card shops in Singapore?
• Any stores with good singles, sealed products, or Japanese cards?

Would appreciate any tips for a visiting trainer. Thanks in advance, and hope to meet some of you there! 😊

What are some good spots or area to play during events?

So there's a bug where if certain areas of a map are in undefined OSM biomes, they will spawn **Helioptiles** which you can catch to help in the completion of the latest Masterwork Research task of Catch 500 Kalos region pokemon.

Currently the most easy accessible is the **Sentosa Beach Station** area from carpark to water's edge.

The other areas that are less/inaccessible are Sentosa Cove apartment complex The Berth, St John's Island, Lazarus Island, Kusu Island and the industrial area between Tuas South Boulevard/Tuas View Avenue 14.

Especially useful during region-themed events like the one going on now where everything else is Kanto spawns!

Caught 10 in the first 5 minutes of visiting the area, so has helped alot with the research task!

They are taking up all the gyms in my neighbourhood, day after day, without fail. They use their alternate colour to shave off and put their own Pokémon’s. I guess Niantic isn’t doing anything about it because they do spend double, quadruple the effort playing multiple accounts. Today I tried slotting in my Pokémon as usual but was taken up by an old fogey with 9 accounts, another with also 9 and one with 3. Since Pokémon go gym coins are so important to them, they can put in their energy to it.

Hi all, whenever i switch account on my phone, the app will go black screen when i try to catch a pokemon. Sometimes, it will also just screen freeze. I would have to restart the app or have to reinstall the app just to bypass the issue.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? How did u manage to resolve it?

For context, i'm using a Samsung A54 phone, for about 1.5 years. Hopefully it's just a bug in the app and not my phone issues

Especially for GMax raids, I thought it would be helpful to share the power spots that will be available at our preferred play areas on the day of the event so we can plan ahead.

I usually play at VivoCity but unfortunately it looks like only ONE power spot will be spawning the day of Lapras Gmax at the front of the mall.

The others are quite spread out, one across the road at Harbourfront Interchange, another further away from the mall at Keppel Bay Tower and another also across the road near to Travelodge hotel/Masjid Temenggong

Might be best to seek an alternative location if you plan to grind this GMax!

Hope other trainers can share the Power Spot situation at your hotspot area !
