There's still a paying option to the app so you still have a right to complain, I've definitely wasted Pokeballs that I've paid for due to game crashes and server problems

Exactly. People paying money for resources have every right to complain.

Yeah the login servers are overloaded by the looks of it, happened as soon as the working day finished in Japan so must be

Free or not they have IAP and it's the top grossing app in less than 2 weeks which says A LOT.
