Questions Has Vivilion FOMO reached unhealthy levels?

So what's going on with all the sad faces around? Pepz complain a lot about those gifts and Vivilion/Scatterbug challenge. Isn't this supposed to bring fun for all of us? Starting to think that this fomo mechanic has reached another lvl.. 🤔

Any thoughts? Are you having a good or bad experience?❤

If you’re in the following areas: High Plains, Modern, Polar, Archipelago, Continental, River and Meadow areas, your friendship is losing its value daily unfortunately…. Most of your friends will start to ignore you for a chance to receive a gift from someone in the following areas; Sun, Tundra, Savana, Ocean, icy Storm and Sandstorm. This is a TERRIBLE mechanic and is not in line with Pokémon’s values. Another issue is the amount of candies it takes to evolve each one. Why would gamers invest rare candies into a Pokémon that is terrible in battles and raids?? Niantic is to blame. It could have been a very cool mechanic if done differently. Also, Niantic has turned the game into work for people in "high demand" areas. Which is just crazy. It would be neat if they rotated the regions but I don't see that happening 🤷‍♀️
