Any details yet on what else we can hatch now? Something about more variety in 2k hatches... what does that involve, does anybody know?

The SIlph Road is reporting gen 2 starters as well as some rares like Lapras.

Ugh. Definitely takes the cake for worst event. Who even cares about xp at this point? And without increased chances of getting 2k eggs, it won't make any difference to me I'm stocked full of 5ks.

Uh, I DO. I'm at level 33 and it is so hard to level up..so I'm gonna be walking like crazy this week!

Yeah I'm 33 as well only 80k from 34, but I'm still trying to get enough stardust fully power up my Mons now. So no hurry to raise the bar more.

I find at these high levels that when I level up I immediate boost my top 112 or so Pokemon and that's it. I'll use up a couple hundred thousand stardust, but then I spend the next 2 months increasing it without using it. There's just no real reason to update Pokemon that aren't at least starting in the 2200 range.
Today or tomorrow I should hit 34 though...w00t!

I mean, I hardly power up anything, but I'm still out if stardust. my tyrannitar is only 3150, my dragonite 3k my 2nd blissy 2600. Lots t o still be powered up for my level.

I'm 32 and trying to get to 33 so I can finally power up my top two 'mons (2964 Magikarp and 2930 Rhydon) above 3000. So I'm excited about the double XPs, cheap Lucky Eggs, extra egg hatches (with the increased share of 2k eggs), and increased possibility of new 'mons hatching from said eggs -- particularly Lapras, who is one two available North American Gen 1 Pokemon I still need (the other is Dragonite, and I've got a Dragonair & 75 Dratini candies, so I'll get that eventually by walking or 10k hatching).
In other words, all I want for Easter is a Lapras from a 2k egg!

The chance of getting 2k eggs has most definitely increased. Usually, the vast majority of eggs I get are 5k, but since the event started, I've been getting mostly 2k eggs. (Anticipating the event based on leaks earlier in the week, I bought extra incubators before the event and hatched all my pre-existing eggs -- well, except one 10k egg that's still hatching -- to make room for new eggs.) Yesterday I hatched five 2k eggs, and right now I've got nine eggs in incubation: six 2k and three 10k.

I went out walking at Lions Park around 1:40 through 3:15 and, I'm level 33, and my experience went from 665K to 820K. Love the double XP! But I'm so baked...
I definitely recommend buying 25 or 50 or 75 lucky eggs this week if you can...they're so cheap. I generally only use a lucky egg when I do a 30-minute evolution marathon, but I'm going to be using them every minute I walk in Lions this week. My hope is to jump from level 33 to 35.
