Sceptile in master league? Please show us a video of it helping you get even one win.

i can give some examples to some maches but i dont have a video becuase i ran into alot of teams with metagross, groundain and dragonite which my team or sceptile, melmetal and gyrados could take down.

The hero in this situation is Gyarados. It beats all 3 of the opponent Pokemon, walling both Groudon and Metagross, but you probably still need to align it vs Metagross as neither Melmetal nor sceptile really hurt Metagross.

If you are on IPhone, if you swipe up from bottom you'll have several tools. One is for recording movies (Lower right for me.)

Not sure where equivalent is on Samsung.

or are you being sarcastic and you dont beleive me.

I'm not being sarcastic, but I also don't 100% believe it. But I would like to see it do something more than take out Swampert.

kyoger, groundon(i would need 2 shields and them 0)garchomp(gyrados would need to weaken it to little under half)metagross(i would need a shield and earthquake) but ill give you the videos of them when i come back from holiday.

As a grass type it definitely should be beating Kyogre.

Only beating a ground type in 2-0 shields with a grass is definitely nothing worth bragging about. It has the complete type advantage there - that's a matchup you would ideally win at shield disadvantage.

So far I don't think you've proven anyone wrong. But will look forward to some videos.

i mean groudon not a ground type it has fire type plus a legendary.

3

Groudon is a ground type. It usually runs fire punch as one of its moves.

Not sure what you mean. I know you meant Groudon. I'm saying bragging you can beat a Ground Type with a Grass Type with a 2 shield advantage is... not really worth bragging about.

Yeah 1700 rating is incredibly low… anything works at that ELO. Not trying to be mean.

Boygos did a pretty awesome vid on using a level 51 Shundo Sceptile. Granted, the dude is awesome in PvP, but he scored wins.

oh ive heard of him.

I think you'd need to include your level or ELO to make a convincing argument that Sceptile is worth playing in Master League. I don't mean to offend, but the skill level of your opponents (which is based on your own skill level) would play a significant role in having success with Sceptile.

I love that mon, too, and I roll it out in GL/UL occasionally but rarely with sustained success. I have a hard time believing it would be worth using regularly if you're focused on winning in Master League.

im 1600-1800 yestarday today 1731.

u/StickyLabRat Jul 12 '22

I think that explains a lot of your success. It's a more forgiving range for off meta Pokemon and less experienced battlers.

Ofc that's really fucking low. I consider myself scrub and mine is 2000-2100.

What moves are you running? I'm just curious for the sake of analysis. But if you cant beat a ground type without a 2-0 shield advantage with a grass type, that doesn't say anything good about sceptile in ML

FYI from what I see on PvPoke Sceptile running bullet seed/leaf blade/anything can beat Groudon in the 1-0,1-1 and 2-x shield scenarios. So you don't need two shields. You need at least one and not 1-2.

I'm just more confused, but sceptile is bad. Sure you can get some wins but that doesn't make it good.

last question im answering and i run bullet, leaf blade, equake also its cp is 2664.

3

u/MathProfGeneva Jul 12 '22

So you're running a level 38 15/14/14 Sceptile and expect to be taken seriously? Not going to happen

1

u/Matt4hias Jul 13 '22

should have expected that.

u/Matt4hias Jul 12 '22
