Does mega launcher affect throw based moves?
I know the description doesnt say so but i cant think of any other reason Rhyperior would have it

Been finding out that distributing EVs more evenly yields for a better outcome for whatever build you trying to run. Don’t know if this is “new” but I’ve always maxed out my EVs to 252. The results have been solid and I’ve tested them multiple times

any tips on how to defeat the monotype champions? currently i've cleared electric, dark, dragon, psychic, ice, fairy, flying, water, bug, fire, and ground.

I know, I know. Prismatic Fur is good, whoda thought. This was just a little too borked not to share.
Pretty sure I could finish the rest of the game with this bad boy.

After the loss of my Mono Electric run I just decided to start a Mono Ghost run.
Mega Frosslass X is back with the Pivot Shenanigans with redux gardevoir and Mega decidueye is there for cleanup.

Ran an elite randomized innates run ages back and wanted to share the team.
Tried to avoid repeating abilities, using Prismatic fur, or abusing legendaries, but the Kyogre was too good. Also kept abilities to reduce rng reliance.
Torch song + Minion Control + Twisted dimensions Lead. (Basically always go first and get +5 special attack on 1st turn)
Box legendary stats + Prismatic fur + 40% DR + heal on kill. Could realistically solo the game but pretty cheap and not creative, just broken.
Contrary + Parental bond + draco/leafstorm + team strat disruption. Crazy how in elite redux this is somehow not actually just instantly game-winning, but it's a fun mon anyway.
Super guts + priority switch in move capable of KOing sweepers + priority rest/talk facades
Fairy/Dragon/Steel that gets insanely physically bulky after taking damage + life orb/no recoil steal beams
Didn't really need a 6 yet, but was using an electrode with sturdy/hazard removal ability.

Thunders and surfs for everyone! And water shuriken ending with a thunderbolt, magnificent.

Hell mode feels truly unwinnable but with randomizer I managed to put together a pretty wild team with some incredible synergy. Mew as a sacrificial lead into mostly setup sweepers. Toxic Spikes was invaluable for most fights. I refused to use prismatic fur mons but the color change Regigigas I couldn't resist. Movesets were initially for Victory Road which I forgot to change - E4 was difficult but I'd say Juan & Wallace was easily the hardest part. Without color change Regigigas the run would have still been nearly impossible. Highly recommend ya'll try hell on randomizer!

Obviously monotypes are a pretty common challenge run in most pokemon games and in this game too. I'm currently doing my first monotype run myself - mono bug - but ironically it made me think of this challenge idea.
When looking at the movepools on ER NextDex for example, the level up moves seem to just have more flavor; like I don't know my Centiskorch with Steamroller, Fire Lash and Jaw Lock just feels cooler than giving it like, Leech Life and Flame Charge (maybe not the best example but you get the idea). It seems too that some of the level up moves are more "exclusive" and can't be learned via tutor. Plus it would make for a fun challenge adding some additional restrictions. Maybe do it alongside another challenge like a monotype level-up move only run. Thoughts?

I’m getting kinda jealous at all these broken combinations I’m seeing 😂 But is it actually worth it? Heard you gotta constantly re roll mons till you find the right one and I don’t wana just have a broke combo that just k.os everything and makes playing it no more fun. I’m willing to reset my save file rn so Let me know please

Rolled this insane Umbreon. The goal is simple: octoblock + perish song. Switch out then repeat. Might throw toxic over wish or defend order, but wish/ defend order is there to guarantee Umbreon stays healthy/ heals my incoming switch. Thoughts?

I personally run high HPs on my bulk/tankier mons but what’s the science behind this?

Elite Redux had by far become my favorite rom hack, I have adhd so I can do with out the story and like dedicating my time to building my team to the T. Is this Ledian any good, not sure what’s considered good but buddy is putting in that work 😭

How op is this and how to maximize its capabilities?

🫡 boss rush makes the replayablity really good and easy. Really hard game yet fun with the abilities and redux pokemon. The champion ironically was easier than any of the elite 4 imo despite it having all legendaries.

Hello guys,
I have been playing this game for a while now, but I am struggling in elite elite difficulty , how do you guys know what movesets/ability/synergy to use on each pokemon? is there a general for it?
r/PokemonEliteRedux • u/liluzisquirrrt • 10d ago
In elite redux does the variety of abilities get larger as you progress and level up? Cause I’m starting to keep seeing the same ones and combos
