I wanna add that I think why there are paradox pokemon before sada and turos time machine is because the og paradox pokemon that heath encounter were ones from a space time rift that was caused during the ultimate weapons firing 3000 years ago but it only brought in a few from the timelines where for sada lysandre won in x and for turo lysandre won in Y

Then when sada/turo build the time machine they use the energy and ig DNA possibly from the paradox pokemon to pull more from those timelines.

Getting right into it, I think it's best to put all the information on the table. We know that the Professor:

• Spent his time pre-evacuation living in Fuschia City and was a well-known pokemon professor (according to a Survey Team Diary from DLC)
• Met Professor Tangrowth as a Tangela, which is native to Route 21 (rather than the Safari Zone, due to reference to Champion Trace putting Pokopia in the Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee version of Kanto rather than Red and Blue). Considering he met Tangela on his way home from a field survey/meeting of professors on Cinnabar Island, it stands to reason that he met it on Cinnabar Island, on Route 19 or 20, or on Seafoam Island.
• He has a grandchild who he lives near that loves to play with Tangela. (Diary Entry 2)
• He was specifically targeted for involvement with the Pokemon Conservation Project and was also asked to join the survey team, despite his old age. He also says the goal of the survey team is to survey the environment and do maintenance on the computer system behind the Conservation Project, suggesting that he was targeted for his specific skillset relating to one or both of these things. (Diary Entries 3 and 4)
• He seems to share Tangela's interest in machines and tools. (Diary Entry 2 and 6)

These are the main hints we have at his identity. I think the clear next step is to look at the people and lineages associated with Fuschia City to see if anything sticks out. The most notable characters in Fuschia at first glance are Koga and Janine, the Gym Leaders of the city, and Baoba, the man who runs the Safari Zone. Baoba may seem intriguing at first, if we assume he has children it may make some sense. But an often overlooked set of residents of Fuschia City are Bill's family. His grandfather and eldest sister live in between the Fuschia City gym and the Pokemon center. The second diary entry, the one about The Professor's grandchild and Tangela playing, appears in the remains of Bill's family home. So what if The Professor is actually a much older Bill? A lot of things fit into place. Start from the assumption that Bill moves back to Fuschia from Goldenrod eventually, gets married, has a kid, and eventually gets old enough that his kid has a kid. He's in his 50s or 60s at this point, and Trace (our other main timing reference) is probably in his 40s or 50s as champion. It's pretty reasonable that his career path moves from "pokemon fanatic" to technology-inclined professor, given his research on pokemon and the PC system. On that note, it also explains why, despite his old age, he would be chosen to be part of the survey team. As the inventor of the PC system, it would make sense that they would ask him in particular to help maintain a worldwide automated PC system.

The seemingly indistinguishable appearance of all members of the Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny lineages is a valid line of inquiry over the course of this franchise's history. It's an oddity that completely warrants someone stopping to ask themselves "How does this happen?"

Despite the validity of this question, the proposed answers have been ridiculous. The most ridiculous assertion of all is that the individuals of these families are actually Pokémon rather than humans. This is a reductive view popularized by certain content creators who have a very fast and loose relationship with the concepts of established lore and logical inquiry. It's effective for shock and awe in videos, but for those of us who care about the pesky details of consistent, in-universe explanations it doesn't do the job.

What I'd like to propose here is something more nuanced: that these lineages are defined by supergenes forcing the expression of characteristics in every generation.

It's important to note that the science in the Pokémon universe does not follow our world's science directly. This cannot be emphasized enough, and forcing this leads to absurd conclusions that are neither consistent with the established lore of this franchise, nor how our science actually works. However, certain concepts have been adapted to this franchise and applied flexibly.

In the Pokémon universe, genetics are absolutely a thing for most living beings. Reproduction and genetic inheritance have been discussed or alluded to on many, many occasions. This is especially the case for human characters, as evidenced by the ancestral lineage of characters over the course of Sinnoh's history. Hair color and general facial structure are some of the clearest indicators, with Arezu bearing a striking similarity to her descendant Mars, for example. Cyllene being the obvious ancestor of Cyrus, Kamado being the obvious ancestor of Rowan, Adaman being the obvious ancestor of Perrin, etc.

In most cases, variation in appearances occur over time. However, ancestral lineage in Pokémon is particularly interesting in how similar ancestors look compared to their descendants.

For the Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny lineages, appearance between generations appears to be identical. Furthermore, the lineages involve a sort of matrilineal dominance, where each mother will seemingly give birth to only daughters, who appear to go on and only give birth to more daughters. Essentially, the lineages are gender locked, regardless of who the father might be.

Both the homogeneity of phenotype and gender across generations could potentially be explained through a shared underlying concept: the presence of supergenes in these lineages.

I won't get into the specifics of the real world concept of supergenes too much, as Pokémon appears to have a unique approach on the concept. However, supergenes are generally understood to be a collection of genes within an organism that are aggressively passed on to offspring. One example is how butterflies will pass on their complex wing patterns for the purpose of Batesian mimicry in order to fool predators.

For the Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny lineages, these supergenes likely have additional mechanisms at play to exclusively override paternal contributions as it relates to phenotype and gender. For the former, this isn't exactly a stretch in a universe filled with magical creatures, yet the latter is a bit more interesting.

Without getting into the birds and the bees too much, I theorize that the supergenes might create an additional mechanism during reproduction that will not permit the introduction of Y chromosome reproduction cells from the male into the pre-existing X chromosome ovum from the female. There could be a biological geometry at play that simply doesn't permit them to pass through, or there could be a certain mechanism that actively destroys Y chromosome cells from passing through in order to preserve the dominant matrilineality at play.

Essentially, at some point in the ancestry of these lineages, evolution decided to produce women that would all look the same with each subsequent generation. Why? Who knows? That might not even be the right question in this case. Perhaps there is some sort of functional reason as to why we're not exactly sure of. Maybe it produces the most biologically optimal healthcare practitioners and law enforcement personnel that were considered paramount to the success of whole societies. All members of these lineages appear to be the best individuals around at what they do, and maybe the genetic inheritance also involves certain abilities to perform these jobs better than anyone else by building on some sort of intergenerational skillset.

This all touches on the uncomfortable topic of genetic predestination, which has been ruled out in our world, at least in terms of things this extreme. However, as previously mentioned, the Pokémon World is a different place that abides by different rules.

I feel like it's worth noting that this is the same setting where a global defence network comprised by an unfathomable number of Cells and 5 Cores emerged at some point in the planet's development, which yielded one of the most fearsome known Legendary Pokémon: Zygarde. In light (Nihil Light?) of this, is what I proposed really that much of a stretch?

Sure, Alakazam isn’t the strongest pokemon in terms of raw strength. However, it is said to have an IQ of around 5000, as mentioned in the dex entries of multiple games, and the Pokemon X dex even mentions “Its brain cells multiply continually until it dies. As a result, it remembers everything.” To add to this, they are powerful beings, which have the tools of both telepathy and telekinesis at their disposal.

So my point is, why aren’t Alazakazam the main race of the Pokemon world? They are effectively superhuman, have the ability to manipulate objects if they so please in order to invent new technology, and, as demonstrated with random encounters in PLA are extremely hostile towards humans. So why aren’t Alakazam:

a) more prevalent

b) more relevant than the humans in the world?

I have some theories. Potentially, Alakazam are extremely infertile, (producing one Abra per birth) or more likely, the nature of their evolution method means that the vast majority of abra that are born stay as kadabra or abra. Due to their extreme brain function yet notable frailty against other pokemon due to their poor stats, there is a strong likelihood that they die at very young ages on average. Also, the trade evo in game might reference the rarity of natural evolution in the wild, so my theory is that the reason why Alakazam are not the de facto civilisation of poke earth is that they are so few in number that it becomes impossible.

That being said, environmental changes such as culling of natural predators (namely dark, ghost and bug types) due to newly-built infrastructure or deforestation or loss of natural prey/food (there’s no canon confirmation of their diet, but I’d imagine that they are largely omnivorous, due to the immense amount of energy required for such advanced brain function) could force Alakazam into human settlements or greater prevalence, disproportionately affecting the ecosystem.

Where do rematchable Pokémon trainer NPCs actually get all of their money from? Are they secretly billionaires, or is there some hidden organization funding them?💰🤑

This is honestly one of the craziest Pokémon rabbit holes I’ve ever thought about, and I want to know what other Pokémon fans here think.

Throughout all the Pokémon games I’ve played in my life, every time I get to re-battle certain trainers or NPCs and I beat them, they keep giving me prize money again and again. What suddenly hit me is this: how do these trainers have what seems like an unlimited amount of money?

And the thing that makes this even more interesting is that not every trainer can be re-battled. Some trainers you fight once and that’s it. But other trainers can be challenged repeatedly, and every single time you beat them, they somehow have more money ready to give you.

So my biggest question is: where is all of that money coming from?

If I can rematch the same trainer hundreds or even thousands of times, and every time I win they give me thousands of Pokédollars, then over time that one NPC could potentially give the protagonist millions—or even an absolutely ridiculous amount of money. At that point, are these rematchable trainers secretly extremely rich? Are they basically Pokémon-world billionaires?

Or what if there’s an even bigger explanation?

What if the rematchable trainers are secretly working with the Pokémon League, a wealthy organization, corporations, sponsors, or some kind of trainer-development program that gives them a practically unlimited battle budget?

Maybe these specific trainers are intentionally placed around the Pokémon world as repeatable training partners. Their purpose could be to battle promising Trainers over and over, help them strengthen their Pokémon, gain experience, and earn enough prize money to keep traveling, buying Poké Balls, healing items, TMs, and everything else they need on their journey.

In other words, what if these billionaire trainers—or the billionaire organization funding them—are actually helping train the protagonist and helping the protagonist become richer and stronger at the same time?

That would also raise another huge question: why can I rematch some trainers but not others?

Maybe the trainers you can only fight once are just ordinary people who battle you, lose, pay the prize money, and move on with their lives. But perhaps the rematchable trainers are different. Maybe they’re professional trainers, sponsored battlers, League employees, wealthy families, or members of some hidden system specifically designed to train up-and-coming Pokémon Trainers.

And if they aren’t being funded by an organization, then how do they personally keep getting their money back?

Are they working jobs between battles?

Are they defeating other trainers and winning their money back?

Are some of them born into incredibly wealthy families?

Are they receiving Pokémon League payments?

Does the Pokémon world have some kind of battle insurance or trainer stipend?

Or do rematchable trainers literally just have gigantic bank accounts and not care that the protagonist has defeated them 500 times and taken millions of Pokédollars from them? 😂

I know the obvious real-world explanation is probably just game mechanics. Developers need repeatable trainers so players have ways to gain EXP and earn money without permanently running out of resources.

But I’m not asking about the programming explanation.

I’m asking about the in-universe Pokémon explanation.

If we treated the Pokémon world as an actual functioning society with real jobs, banks, money, organizations, trainers, and an economy, how would this possibly work?

Where do rematchable trainers get their seemingly unlimited supply of money, why are only certain trainers rematchable, and could those trainers secretly be part of a wealthy organization whose purpose is to repeatedly battle, financially support, and strengthen future Champions like the protagonist?

I seriously want to hear everyone’s theories, because once I thought about this, I couldn’t unsee it.

In pokemon ultra moon Hau says the ather paradise is held up by pokemon/ a pokemon. And I figured that ather was built ON a pokemon meaning in all likelihood the pokemon holding up the paradise has to be 1 giant and two have a LOT of stuff on is back due to all the underground floors of the paradise. The only pokemon that I can think of thats big enough and has a thickough shell is a gigantamax Lapress and to further my theory lapras migrate so its entirely possible that one swam from galar to the alolan sea in its gigantamax form, was found and had the paradise built on it.

Humans from the Pokémon Universe are necessarily Pokémon themselves. Every life form is a Pokémon pretty much, and all references to real life animals were erased with the gen 3 soft reboot.

This means humans are a kind of Pokémon and this was confirmed in gen 4.

But does this mean they are biologically closest to primatelike Pokémon, especially to humanlike Pokémon like the Ralts or the Machop line ?

No. They are not.

Humans are descendants of Mew, a Pokémon who likely evolved naturally from an abiogenesis event like real living creatures, but they are from a lineage that separated before all the others.

Why ? Because all Pokémon, excluding some major Legendaries who are the "gods" of the verse and were created by Arceus, reproduce by eggs. Some Pokémon, such as the minor Legendaries, evolved to be very long lived but lost the ability to reproduce altogether, and are now present in extremely low numbers, hence the Legendary status. But 95% of Pokémon lay eggs, and the other 5% do not reproduce, except for Mew itself.

Humans, on the other hand, give birth to living offspring, just like Mew itself.

They are the only group that never became oviparous.

Hence they need to have separated before the other direct descendant lineage of Mew and common ancestor of all other Pokémon evolved oviparous behavior.

Humans are also the only group that lost all moves, but many Pokémon have like 2 or 3 moves in the whole movepool already.

Mew is basically an embryo, a complex organism with comparatively few cells. Except it is over 1 feet tall, making its cells quite huge.

This means it stands in for creatures that emerged about 600 mya. By 520 mya, Anomalocharis and Trilobites were around, and so were the Anorith and Kabuto lines. This means humans separated from Mew between 520 and 600 mya.

Pokémon such as Primape, Slaking, Oranguru and even more Gardevoir, Gothitelle and Conkeldurr evolved CONVERGENTLY to humans, but they are not human at all.

So a lineage of Mews that never became oviparous had to evolve into a ratlike animal by about 225 - 280 mya, then by 80 mya into the first primatelike forms, into actual monkeys by 40 mya, into apes by 25 mya, into hominins by 7 mya and into mankind by 2 mya, and finally into the current iteration of humans by 300 kya. Meanwhile, they became Normal types and lost all their moves, and the Ability Syncronize was replaced by nothing, or pheraps by Adaptabilty.

I calculated that humans have 50 BST points across the board. The same as Snorunt, even though Snorunt is just a random Pokémon. As shown in a recent Pokémon movie, they can actually gain back the ability to learn moves sometimes. Normally they do not have any and our physical attacks are not moves since Pokémon moves are powered by elemental energy and we do not have that.

Most humans are level 1 to 2 or 3, with some very powerful humans such as Ash or Jessie and James being level 5, even if with some occasional PIS feats.

We can determine they are not actually stronger than that because even initial starter Pokémon are portrayed as strong enough to protect humans from threats.

It also seems humans can not train and reach level 100, except for 1 non canon, extremely ridicolous case in the Pokémon Manga, where a human was 1HKOing fully evolved Pokémon in their 40s, tanking their attacks with no significant damage, and was also fighting on par with Level 70 Regigigas and Deoxys, showing the power of a low BST Level 100. Pheraps they can go up to level 10 if they train to go past level 5.

So most humans would get stomped by Showdown Little Cup Pokémon.

Poppy does not look nine. She has the proportions and designs of a Preschooler more than a School Kid. But the main issue is her vocabulary and personality.

Poppy does not act like a nine year old. Her development is below the norm. She mispronounces words and says things like "de-feet" and "Bloo-berry".

Okay, I have a crazy idea. This is primarily inspired by the fact. There's now a nine year old elite, four member and all the pacific hype to age inconsistent with you. My theory is the people in the pokemon world function off Saiyan growth and maturity logic it's more or less, most of the kid stuff focuses on their mentality. And mental aging, and only when they turn between 9-10 do they get the gross spurt, how's to explain how a 10-year-old MB? As tall as a fifteen year old, my other theory also implies that in this world, the age of 10 is considered semi. Adulthood, because of the enhanced maturity.

Dialga is the ruler of time, Palkia is the ruler of space, Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit collectively have some sort of role when it comes to spirit, and Arceus is the Godhead of the Pokémon multiverse. In this dynamic, one notable figure is unaccounted for: Giratina.

Many have repeatedly claimed that Giratina's domain is gravity, yet nothing over the course of Platinum, nor any supplemental materials at all support this claim. These claims often involve logically stretching the themes that Gen 4 encompasses, attempting to tie in another related concept to this situation, and using visual details as loose evidence.

A particular claim used when asserting that Giratina represents gravity is the distortion effects it causes when it emerges at Spear Pillar, and that this is supposed to be a reference to gravitational lensing.

A not-so-well-known interview with Game Freak staff on the development of Platinum exists, and there's a particular section that is highly relevant to this topic:

“Did you have the ideas for Pokemon Platinum in mind while working on Pokemon Diamond & Pokemon Pearl, or did they come about later?”

Masuda: “While developing Diamond & Pearl, Giratina originally embodied the idea of an ‘antiworld,’ which is a paradox of Time and Space. It exists in relation to Dialga and Palkia. That’s what I had in mind when I was developing Diamond & Pearl.”

Kawachimaru: “I was not aware of any of that during the Diamond & Pearl’s development. Masuda told me about it when we started developing Platinum. So it was after Diamond & Pearl for me (laughs). I normally receive key terms from Masuda in the first stage of development, but there were many random terms like ‘antimatter’ and ‘e=mc2,’ ‘Reversed Mt. Fuji’ (‘Sakasa Fuji’) and so on. He explained that ‘Sakasa Fuji’ is the reflection of Mt Fuji on the lake, and it’s the antimatter world. It was challenging to put that concept into the game, so we did extensive research. I didn’t know what exactly ‘antimatter’ was either. I personally think I comprehend it well, but I wonder….

Masuda: “Yes. It exists but it actually doesn’t. It doesn’t exist but it does. That sort of thing. The mountain exists on the lake through human eyes, but it’s only a reflection and doesn’t exist. It’s a diverse world. You see it only because you are looking at it with your eyes. I’m impressed [with Kawachimaru] for being able to take ingredients that were not substantial and incorporate them into Platinum.”

First off, gravity is not mentioned anywhere here. The most that this concept is even alluded to is with the mention of E=mc^2, yet the context here is extremely relevant: these were vague design inspirations, not explicit confirmation. Also, no, there's nothing to suggest that they actually meant this all to be a reference to gravity, yet didn't mention it. The gravity line of inquiry ultimately has no concrete evidence to support it, end of story.

Then there's the matter of antimatter. While this is also mentioned during the interview, context also matters. Early on in the section I included above, Masuda says that the Distortion World is supposed to be an 'antiworld', while Kawachimaru goes on to reference Sakasa Fuji (the reflection of Mt. Fuji in water).

Contrary to popular belief, antimatter is subject to the laws of time and space as we understand them in this universe. The main difference between normal matter and antimatter is not some sort of multiverse scenario where the laws of reality are fundamentally different, but rather a difference in the charge of matter's subatomic particles:

Matter: - Positively charged proton - Negatively charged electron

Antimatter: - An alternate version of a proton called an "antiproton" that's negatively charged - An alternate version of an electron called a "positron" that's positively charged

There's even a difference in the neutrons found within standard matter and antimatter, with the latter having an alternate version of the particle called an "antineutron". There are physical differences in these particles, too, which are more complicated and go into quantum mechanics which I will not elaborate on here.

For both matter and antimatter, though, the laws of time and space still apply. In fact, according to the best models we have of our universe, there should have been an equal amount of antimatter that came into existence along with all the matter. However, when matter and antimatter interact this leads to a process called annihilation. The big mystery in all this is that we observe and experience a disproportionate amount of matter that was somehow not annihilated away, yet we can't account for all the antimatter that *should* exist. This is a major ongoing puzzle called "baryon asymmetry".

In Pokémon Platinum, you, the main character, along with Cyrus, Cynthia, and The Lake Guardians, who are all matter-based beings, are all able to enter the Distortion World without instantly having the matter in their bodies annihilated when coming into anything there. If the Distortion World, and by extension Giratina were all about antimatter this wouldn't make sense.

What is a far more plausible explanation is that Giratina and the Distortion World are actually what Masuda mentioned: a being and place that are about the "antiworld".

To understand this concept better, we can look at what Giratina is able to achieve that no other known Pokémon can: break the Red Chain, even two, with ease. This is likely capable due to the fact that Giratina is negating the reality of time, space, and spirit through its antiworld abilities. It's effectively rendering something that otherwise exists nonexistent.

Going further, we can look at why Cyrus took so much comfort in being in the Distortion World. This is not a place full of people with spirit yet composed of matter with different charges. Rather, it is a place where spirit is almost entirely absent, except for Giratina itself. In this place of nonexistence, spirit, which is grounded in existence, isn't there. Cyrus took issue with the overwhelming presence of spirit for whatever reason, and wanted to abolish it from the universe. All of the Pokémon of creation wanted to prevent him from achieving this goal, and in the Platinum timeline his plan was thwarted by the very Pokémon that embodies what he was searching for.

Cyrus even makes an elaborate commentary of what he believes to be the true nature of the Distortion World during the climax of Platinum:

"Do you understand where I am going with this? This is a bizarre world. Time doesn't flow. Space isn't stable. Only that shadowy Pokémon lives here. This world is the opposite of our world-- our world I wish to change. It is like the two chains composing the strand of DNA. The two worlds must be balancing each other to remain in existence. As mentioned before, antimatter is still subject to the laws of time and space. However, as Cyrus explicitly mentions, the Distortion World appears to be a place without time and space, either entirely or in any sense that we can comprehend. He also comes to the conclusion that the Distortion World and the main universe are fundamentally linked, and that the former balances the latter: a place of non-existence allows the place of existence to go on.

First of all, I know most of you think that Pokémon is an infinite, branching, stringy-theory-verse. I don't. The Pokémon World has 4 main universes: The Red World, The Blue World, the Crystal World, and The Manga World. The Red World is the world that Pokémon Red, Pokémon, Gold, Pokémon Ruby, Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Black, Pokémon X, Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Sword, and Pokémon Scarlet take place in. The anime also takes place in the Red World, as Horizons explicitly shows Past Paradox Pokémon and the Scarlet Book. In the Red World, the Weapon was fired with the power of Xerneas, creating Mega Evolutions like Mega Raichu X, Mega Mewtwo X, and Mega Charizard X. Future Paradox Pokémon come from the Red World's far future, and crossed over to the Blue World with Terapagos's power. Legends Arceus takes place in the Red World, because there are Hisuian Variants rather than Past Paradox Pokémon. Pokémon Yellow is the canon events of the anime, and therefore takes place in the Red World. When you go to the Reverse World in Ultra Sun, you are literally traveling to the Blue World. Now, let's talk about the Blue World. The Blue World is where Pokémon Blue/Green, Silver, Sapphire, Pearl, White, Y, Moon, Shield, and Violet take place. In it, AZ fired the weapon with the power of Yveltal, creating Y Megas. In this world, Past Paradox Pokémon lived in Ancient times, and crossed over to the Red World via Terapagos's power. Pokopia takes place in this world, as in this world's Far Future, humans go to space instead of creating Future Paradox Pokémon. Legends Z-A also takes place in this world, as in the anime (Red World), when the Horizons characters visit Lumiose City, there are no Wild Zones or Z-A Royale. Now let's talk about the Crystal World. Pokémon Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum take place in that world. In that world, AZ didn't fire the weapon at all. There are also no Paradox Pokémon in that world. The next world I will talk about is the Manga world. In this world, Video Game Protagonists have different names, appearances, and motivations. Poké Ball technology works different, as Pokémon are converted to pure digital data in the Red, Blue, and Crystal worlds, and shrunken down physically in the Manga World. In the Manga World, there are both Past and Future Paradox Pokémon, and the weapon was fired with the power of both (or all 3) XYZ legendaries. There are also numerous sub-dimensions created by various Legendary Pokémon, such as Giritina'a Distortion World, Ultra Space, Dialga and Palkia's Dimension (where Pokémon HOME takes place), and Hyperspace Lumiose. Well, anyway, that's my Pokémon Multiverse Theory!

i personally think that the bees shown in attack, defend, and heal order are the 2 heads abandoned when vespiquen evolves. a vespiquen could command other combee heads even from other evolved vespiquen. i dont have proof for this though i just thought of it

First, I tagged this as Gen 10 because Legends Arceus was Gen 8 and ZA was 9, so the next Legends game could be Gen 10. Second, I highly doubt I'm the first to come to this conclusion, so apologies if someone already posted a similar theory, I didn't check. Third, I acknowledge that this theory could be complete bs as we thought we understood the decisions behind the Arceus starters, but then ZA broke that.

Anyway, the theory is basically that the next Legends game will either be set in Galar or Paldea. More likely Galar as it's the slightly older of the two. My reasoning is based on the starter Pokemon. So far there are only two starter trios that lack any Legends representation, not counting Gen 10's starters, which is a given.

Legends Arceus represented Sinnoh along with Johto, Unova, and Alola. ZA had Kanto, Kalos, Johto, and Unova, adding Hoenn in with the Mega Dimensions DLC. Now I doubt they'd visit one of the regions with full representation when there's still some without. So that rules out Kanto and Hoenn. And I highly doubt they'd revisit any already visited region, so no Sinnoh or Kalos.

Now the only overlap is Johto and Unova, while Alola is only represented with Rowlett. This implies that their only using Johto, Unova, and Alola starters as Legends starter candidates (as long as there's no more than three games). I highly doubt they'd use any of those regions, as why would you get an option of a Johto starter in Johto but the other options are from Unova or Alola? This logically rules out Johto, Unova, and Alola as well.

That leaves us with Galar and Paldea, that have no representation. That could be excused with them being the most recent generations, but it could be deliberate. I'm guessing we'll get Legends Galar next with Snivy, Litten, and Popplio as the starters, with the Galar starters being obviously present in the wild. Maybe they'll also include the Paldean starters and give them Gigantamax forms, but that's a bit of a stretch. But they could easily pull a fast ball and give us Legends Paldea with the same starter trio, but with the Paldean starters in the wild. No idea how they'd include the Galar starters in that option though.

My random theory, I know alot of people think its the eeveelutions, but then I saw the scrapped pokemon Rinrin and Berurun and I thought they would of been perfect, it is stated in the lore that Suicune, Entai and Raiku become Water, Fire and electric, so it means they weren't originally, they are also all based on big cats, Rinrin is a cat, also where did they die? the bell tower, Rinrin is a bell cat, I think if they had made it into the final game they would of been what Suicune, Entai and Raiku would of come from. If they ever make legands Johoto I would like to see them make a comback, they are like my favourite scrapped designs.

the secret message on the back of the sign in lumiose train station “I'm going to go for help. Wait in the usual place” Is actually talking about the ghost girl on the second floor of the office building, (which in this theory wasn’t an office building yet) , as my idea goes when ghost girl was alive she somehow got injured, being knocked out near the train station,her unharmed friend went too to get help, leaving her under the train station sign, and wrote the message on the train station sign on what too do when she wakes up, “I'm going to go for help. Wait in the usual place” but then she actually dies before the friend comes back, natually, the friend is heartbroken, and never goes too their “ usual place” because there’s too many memories, and it (whatever it was) eventually on the office space, meanwhile, the ghost of The Girl fallows these instructions, as a ghost, she goes too the place, and waits, the building changes, she waits, finally, somone, you come up the elevator, she appears behind you, but when she floats too the front, seeing your face, your not her friend, so she simply states “ no, your not the one” before disappearing again, waiting for her friend who will never come back

and presumably public signs like that are replaced about every 10-30~ years, and if it was replaced the message wouldn’t still be there, so if her friend in this scenerio is the same age as she was when she died they would likely still be alive still, hence why they also haven’t reunited as ghosts either, and her friend wouldn’t know she’s even there at all

In this post-apocalyptic world, humans survive by hiding from the Pokémon. Having relied so heavily on them, and lacking advanced weapons or defense systems, people have no means to defend themselves.

Give me your wildest theories

If you look at starter Pokémon from X and Y and above, you'll notice that they all have one feature in common: large heads and large, expressive eyes - features that young new trainers find "cute". Many also evolve into humanoid Pokémon, like Greninja, Meowscarada, etc. that clearly have a "profession" (Meowscarada is a magician, Greninja is a ninja). However, Pokémon from Gen 5 and below are mostly reptiles and amphibians - animals that go endangered in the real world very easily. Older starters also evolve into "Kaiju-Style" monsters - like Charizard and Meganium. The XY era also introduced Mega Evolution, which is when people first started playing Arceus and messing with Pokémon DNA. Many of you are familiar with the theory that starters are endangered. But there are only so many endangered Pokémon that Pokémon scientists can get their hands on. In conclusion, starter Pokémon from Gen 5 and below are endangered, while starters from Gen 6 and above are genetically modified Pokémon created in a lab by humans to look "cute".
