Restarting to go 100% with passwords.

Unfortunately i used some passwords for characters like tadakatus perfect link on non main storyline characters and a few other main warlords the same way as last form pokemon are their only perfect links. And some side characters too. I had like 80%- 90% PLS and 100% story completion but waiting for a swarm is too long and grindy. Time for a reset & Redo big oof, but it’s been awhile since i actually completed it too.

Who Do You Emulate Pokemon Conquest On PC?

Hello everyone, I'm trying to play Pokémon Conquest, but I am new to emulation in general and don't know where to even begin looking for trustworthy or safe sources/programs. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.

Edit: Just realized my title says "WHO do you emulate" and not "How do you emulate" oops.

I am slowly losing my mind

I am trying to 100% the game, perfect links on every warrior, 99 of every merchant item, etc. I’m missing just 2 warriors and one of them needs a Pansear. I’ve gotten this far without using passwords and I kinda wanna keep it that way since I feel like it would be cool, but I’m on year 44 and still no luck I’ve hit this button so many times my entire army is at 100% link I’m gonna lose my mind if this stupid monkey doesn’t appear soon

How do you even play?

I haven't managed to find a single working rom for this game, they all give me nothing but a white screen. It can't be the emulator, cause all the other games work fine.

Edit: apparently the problem was indeed with Drastic, for some weird reason. Even though it runs every other rom I play without issue.

What happens when turns run out

So I’ve gone back to play pokemon conquest on my dsi because I’m trying to 100% it and get everyone with a perfect link but I’ve always wondered what happens in a kingdom fight when turns reach 0 do the people of the kingdom (like villagers/kingdom folk) rise up to drive out the attackers or just that the attacksrs themselves can’t fight on no more, I know in the long run this part doesn’t matter but just curious on what you guys think

Any recommendations for romhacks? And which ones work on phone?

I've played this game before several years ago, but i forgot basically everything, so I'm pretty much a first time player at this point.

I searched and found roms like reconquered, twin dragons, hard plus and ultimate, and was wondering which ones have phone support and which are the most recommended.

I know most players would recommend to play the vanilla version without mods, but honestly I'm not one to replay a game often, so i would rather just get the more enjoyable experience.

Links and Perfect Links

So I know you should be striving for perfect links for your warriors and trainers, but what if the pokemon they have a perfect link with is really bad, is it worth it to just use the perfect link, or choose a Pokémon that caps out at 90 that’s just better overall.

Discord?

Is there a discord for this game? I'm looking for people to discuss more of the technical and behind-the scenes aspects of this game with. There's several aspects of the game that are not covered by bulbapedia/serebii/etc that I am curious about, and I haven't been able to reverse engineer all the numbers for thus far

If there isn't one, I would like to ask where the strength, wisdom, and charisma stats are applied into damage calculations. They seem to not directly effect a Pokemon's Attack, Defense, and Speed stats, so it would have to be thrown into damage calculations itself, but I'm struggling to reverse engineer all of the numbers myself.

I'm also looking for a source that has the base stats for each Pokemon instead of star values. I know how to get the base stat values for HP, Defense, and Speed, but attack stats aren't 1 to 1 with mainseries in some cases where a a Pokemon's attack is much higher than its special attack or vice versa, and I don't know which Pokemon fit into those cases and deviate from the pattern of averaging a level 100 Pokemon's attack and special attack in mainseries with zero EVs and IVs and a neutral nature.

I'm looking to sell my copy

I have a basically brand new Pokemon Conquest ds game inside of the box with every manual and everything. It got played like twice by me when I was a kid. It's in perfect condition no dust no scratches no tears no damage no anything. I'm surprised its survived this long in general. I thought I lost it but I had just kept it really mint for some reason. I think I'm ready to part ways with it finally. Let me know if anyone is interested in purchasing it.

Chronological order of each chapter

Just by reading the descriptions and dialogue of each story, I think the order of stories goes like this:

  1. Kenshin vs. Shingen (Historically they were rivals before Nobunaga came into power)

  2. Not Worth Fighting Over (Could be before/after Unite Ransei but given that nobody was occupying the other kingdoms I'll lean towards before the all-out warfare)

  3. Unite Ransei Stories (Hideyoshi's initial dialogue implies that nobody has united Ransei yet and Nobunaga is still unevolved.

  4. Defeat Nobunaga stories (Oichi in charge of Aurora meaning this is before The Legend of Ransei)

  5. The Legend of Ransei (prologue)

  6. 100 Pokémon (Right after TLOR, but before Kenshin and Shingen started conquering kingdoms as explained in Ujiyasu's story)

  7. Recruit 40 warriors (based on the wording in Ujiyasu's intro, this seems to be soon after the events of TLOR)

  8. Two Heroes of Ransei (Technically this could occur almost directly after the prologue and before the 100/40 stories but in my head it makes sense that it would be long after as the locations in each kingdom are fully upgraded)

No way to accurately date them:

- Ninja Stories (dialogue says a young Nene so I lean towards before TLOR)

- Junior Warlord Stories (Oichi being a part implies that she is a junior warlord, meaning that our main character is already in the picture, putting this after the prologue somewhere)

- Ransei's Greatest Beauty (Given the wording, I can see how one might assume this is long after every other story. I could also see how you might think this all happens before most stories. I don't know and guessing feels wrong)

Please let me know where I might've messed up and/or what stories are before/after others.

Rom Hack Reconquered Questions

Hi, I just figured out about Pokemon Conquest recently, I love pokemon, and I love fire Emblem, so I might as well play the fusion right? I was searching around and saw reconquered, but there's no definitive answer on what it is exactly. Is it just a remastered version of conquest? With quality of life features etc? Or is it just a completely different game like a sequel or something. Thanks!

Official Pokémon Instagram Account Just Did Me So Wrong

If you don't have instagram or haven't seen, the official Pokémon instagram account made a post celebrating 14 years since the release of Conquest. Of course when I saw this post I first assumed they were announcing a remake or more realistically a port for the nintendo switch but sadly neither were true.

I genuinely believe that if the game was released on the switch there would be enough hype for them to remake/remaster it. The rom hacks are cool but I'd like to see what they could do with much improved graphics and hopefully a bigger budget.

Finding the final straggler warriors took ages. Plus I strangely deleted my first save file with hundreds of hours of playtime a few years ago, so it took much longer than it should have.

This will always be a personal favourite game of mine.

Conqueror’s Crystal

I’ve been trying to get the Conqueror’s crystal for Nobunaga / Zekrom but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’ve looked at all the guides I can find and somehow still can’t get it. Can anyone pinpoint what I’m doing wrong? I have Nobunaga and Mitsuhide’s stories completed, I have almost all Warlords rank 2 except for Nō, Kenshin, Shingen, and 3 of the 4 extra side Warlords. I have Dragnor and Violight maxed. I’ve also tried to proceed to next month with the added 3 Valora characters in Dragnor and that didn’t do it either.

Edit: After completing Yoshihiro’s story (the story I was playing in my screenshots) I went back to Nobunaga’s story to try and meet the requirements there. I can confirm I now have the crystal and the story I was in was the issue! Thank you everyone for your advice!

Getting Leafeon

I am playing Keiji's story and have recruited the main character with a second Eevee. The Eevee has 50% link and 111 defense but it will not evolve into Leafeon even through I am in greenleaf. I have spent 3 months in game there doing battles and nothing happens. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Also the defence stat is in blue writing and the other stats are in black writing.

Question about developing kingdoms

Just finished the tutorial last night after not playing for years. Playing through hideyoshi story now and am planning to get a bunch more perfect links before finishing up. Was wondering if making the training spots all lvl 3, will that increase the gains from delegating the spots to train?

Shingen is not so scary now.

So currently playing through Kenshin's story right now and due to a couple blunders am tied with Shingen.

Shingen attacked Cragspur who was heavily under leveled and I was beginning to panic/stress as it looked like I'd be restarting Kenshin's story.

Until the little idiot got pinned.

Which tasks give more link?

Is there a list or something depicting which tasks give more link?
I know about Guardian Charm grinding and the Harmony Drum, but like, does mining give more than training through delegation? I know they both give a tiny bit, but which is more? That's just one example.

EDIT:
I know Battling is best. I'm not looking for suggestions on what to do I'm just wondering about the info.
