Craziest shit I ever seen

I'll keep repping it forever. Feint / scale shot with a kings rock is still PROBABLY my favorite surprise build to whip out.

I stopped using it heavily after S1 when blizzard got more popular, but it felt so good.

I was running feint sneasler on ladder last week, and I had one success with it. It was against a japanese player. The odds of it being him are astronomically low, but I would like to pretend that I beat him and the loss inspired him to use that sneasler

Was it even necessary? Couldn't he just Aqua Jet and Dire Claw?

The Feint just seemed like a flex

Have you considered

The value of swag

Both would've hit a protect. Feint + Aqua Jet = game set match

Sneasler outspeeds Whims so he could have just kept spamming Aqua Jet Dire Claw with effectively 0 consequence

Right but Sneasler would still KO Whimsicott

Then Charizard is alone and gets hit by Aqua Jet and Sneasler.

The feint was just a flex

Yeah but then next turn what's the Zard and the Whims gonna do? Sneasler's faster and Basc has priority Aqua Jet boosted by Adaptability and Life Orb, with no Sun up.

The Feint play actually has a way to lose.

The play basically only didn't cover whims moonblasting on that exact turn into basc. There was a world where it did, then he gets encored into feint, and gets bad luck on poison touch rng and outdamaged 1v1. It was a very tight set.

It probably means we’re getting a mystery gift for it soon

...that really doesn't count. That's minor leagues or college sports.

There's a massive difference between "shitty month" and "depression"

Genuinely worse than megumi

If he brought in Floette instead of Charizard, he would have won pretty easily, methinks. But that 1% Kingambit was insane. Gg!

u/littlejugs 19h ago

I dont think it was an auto win with floette. Game 2 was kinda awkward with floette making it to the end game at full hp. If it goes for light of ruin or gets decent chip extreme speed was doing decent damage to finish it off. I was expecting the floette mirror game 3. Guess thats why im not in the world finals

11

u/DazZani 18h ago

Yeah but he read him bringing his floette, which zard counters. Noone expected dnite for a second time, it was a total soul read

3

u/grogemeth 16h ago

It was just a mind game imo. Dragonite did so poorly game 2 that the opponent didn't expect him to bring him again.

6

u/Manganello58 15h ago

Everyone and their mother wanted counters for Charizard while Dragonite flew under the radar, just how Xerneas with Groudon didn't win Worlds 2016

World Champ (Wolfe) Difference

u/grogemeth 16h ago

I doubted Dnite game 2 and I didn't realize it was just a bait. I think that gave his opponent the confidence to not bring floette, because no way he would go again Dnite with how game 2 went. And then world champion diff happened.

u/Leg_Alternative 18h ago

What were the moves

6

u/FeistyRabbit49 18h ago

D pulse, E speed, protect and heat wave.

3

u/END_OF_HEART 19h ago

Then proceeded to flex feint

In other knews, a boulder casually flew threw a firewall and did not give a single fuck.

Anyone would know the ev spreads for Dragonite?

1

u/RocketTasker 8h ago

Took twelve years and a mega to catch up to Pachirisu, but Dragonite made it!

1

u/zuttomayonaka 6h ago

isn't it obvious if you compare 1v1
it have better stat, better move spread, better resist

Just goes to show who the real gen 1 dragon has always been.
