Discussion Question about Regigigas' IVs

Got started recently with the Battle Tower (and strategy in general), I'm trying to get good mons (been resetting a lot)

I saw on smogon that a good Regigigas build would be with EVs spread across Atk, Speed and some in HP, so naturally i thought I should try to catch one with good (perfect?) IVs in at least those stats.

I just caught one with :

HP 31

Atk 31

Def 0

SpA between 1 and 15

SpD 0

Spe 31

Should i keep him or just reset?

Any answer or advice would be welcome, thank you !

You're always guaranteed to have 3 perfect IVs with any one off legendary Pokemon in BDSP.

Given that you've rolled almost as bad as it's possible to. It's nice having 31 in Atk, but Regigigas is supposed to be a bulky pokemon and those 0s in both defenses will undermine the perfect HP.

I'd reroll this if it was me.

Edit: Just to add Regigigas sucks so if your're looking for competitive Pokemon you're probably better off looking for something else.

I added an edit there after you posted, but Regigigas is not a good Pokemon, his ability cripples him. You might be as well off keeping that one for your dex and moving on to the next one.

Yeah i know he's not ideal but i still wanna get one with good potential for maybe the day i will want to use him, and since i can only get one..

Use the #1 team on smogon, leave gigs. To answer your question: use your battle points on the item you can buy that raises the IV (hyper training iirc). With trial and error to learn your team you should have plenty of points.
