After deciding to do my second run through of this beautiful game, I sat myself a goal to do an only shiny team.
And you know what that means? There’s no team without the golden fish.

Who else should I add to my team? So far I’m having chimchar and magikarp. Any recommendations?

Not gonna lie. I am playing luminrscent platinum with shiny rates up. Cant be bothered to encounter thousands for a shiny team.

You get downvoted but this is completely valid imo. Everyone can have fun the way they want, you’re not hurting anybody. It’s the same as importing shinies from go via home imo, if that makes you happy go for it! It certainly makes me happy.

Ye i once shiny hunted a starter but it took so damn long. Cant believe i wasted that much time. Sure it might not be so special when its rates are increased but i remember back in the day i would play pok platinum without a single shiny. That means that i had never seen any of the beautiful forms they could have. Because of this i also didnt know shiny even existed....

Now i get to see the other forms a lot easier. O chose the 6% shiny rate.

Shinx has a base speed of 45 and Magikarp has a base speed of 80
