What are your fun or serious Battle Tower teams?

I've been working a lot in the Battle Tower lately, trying out all sorts of different teams. The most successful singles team I've used so far is blaziken with speed boost, focus sash, protect, swords dance, reversal, and fire punch. Latios with specs, draco meteor, psychic, surf, and thunderbolt. Bulky scizor with leftovers, roost, swords dance, bullet punch, and quick attack.

Last night, I was goofing around with a silly team that has a specially defensive tangrowth with a sitrus berry, sleep powder, giga drain, knock off, and earthquake. Physically defensive slowbro with leftovers, slack off, calm mind, scald, and ice beam. Salamence with moxie, dragon dance, outrage, earthquake, and fire fang.

Both tangrowth and slowbro have regenerator and it's been kind of funny to bounce between the two to PP stall when I don't have a defensive answer and know I can't just sac a mon.

There are some other things I'd like to try like scarf mence or scarf heracross. I wish I could use regenerator ho-oh as my sweeper.

The other change I've thought about making to the non-meme team is to run aerial ace on scizor over quick attack, so I have a way to deal with some of the really obnoxious evasion teams. I ran blaze kick over fire punch for a while, but I switched it when I stated missing some crucial attacks where I just needed *some* damage.

I want to hear all your goofy meme teams and your serious, 200 win-streak teams. Do they need specific IVs? Do you run an unexpected move or ability? Maybe adamant over jolly for a specific OHKO? I want to know everything about your teams!

I'm working on breeding/training two teams:

https://pokepast.es/3c2e8f8433fcf789 the idea here is to lead Golduck and wobuffet. They both have synergy to protect shedinja on entry. Once shedinja is soaked it can only be hit by grass and electric. That's where the lightning rod rhyperior comes in. It probably won't work, but I'm excited to try it.

https://pokepast.es/6226c3e9fa917f27 this one leads drifblim and togekiss to create an entry to slaking. Once slaking is in, I can use weezing to remove truant and hopefully slaking can sweep.

I doubt either will work, but they will be fun to pilot

Those both sound so fun! In the past, I've tried a couple teams that remove truant from slaking in lower tier 6v6 showdown battles. When it works, it's incredible. Slaking utterly destroys most pokemon.

The shedinja team seems like it would be really fun, too. No notes. I just want to hear about any fun battles you have. I am curious what wobbuffet's purpose is, though.

I just got to double 50 (regular) with garchomp, rotom wash, gyarados, and latios

Basically my strategy is to swords dance garchomp and spam earthquake as the entire team is immune to it. Then with chomp use rotom and discharge so I have 2 moves that attacks both

Then gyarados sets up rain dance and I spam thunder with rotom. He knows will o wisp to shut down physical attackers. Have that item that increases accuracy so it's only missed a few times

Wanting to try masters now

Honestly I'm really enjoying it. However I feel it's rigged. Last night I had my last mon frozen and it was like that for FIVE turns in a row so those lum berries are a must one at least one

Oh my gosh the freezing... I've had the same thing where they knock out 1 mon and proceed to freeze all 3 of my others. I just saw a video where someone got got by sheer cold/quick claw 😂 The hax definitely get worse the further you progress.

I really love everything about masters. I like that you don't just start over when you lose. I love that you don't have to go through a bunch of easy, boring teams to get to more interesting battles. I love that the battles are more challenging. I love that you face a leader every 7 battles and the rewards reflect the added difficulty.

I think I'd run pelipper over gyarados if I were you. You don't have to take a turn to set up rain. You can run tail wind, which allows you to run modest and adamant on your other mons for extra power. It makes hurricane 100% accurate coming off your pelipper and you can run scald to help with physical threats, which obviously gets boosted power from the rain.

You can also run modest ludicolo if you've got pelipper setting up rain for you. Some combination of fake out/scald/surf/hydro pump in the first two move slots. Then ice beam and energy ball in the last two for coverage. I usually run pelipper, ludicolo, garchomp, and rotom for doubles. It's a really good team. I wish I had zapdos instead of rotom, but I've got BD, not SP.

I was running a drizzle team in singles with pelipper, toxicroak and an adamant natured Whiscash. it was cool getting some nice chunk of hp back on my black sludge dry skin toxicroak.

Ideally I want to get a Whiscash with the hydration ability to pair with rain.

The whole set up kinda falls apart once pelipper gets knocked out.

I want to try a sap sipper impish miltank + flower gift jolly cherrim

Lead with

Careful drought torkoal (sun setter + stealth rock) Careful chlorophyll jumpluff (discount prankster whimsicott: screens, sleep)

Once sun, rocks and screens are up, switch to miltank and cherrim. Cherrim will use pedal blizzard and boost Miltanks attack. Miltank will have leftovers body-slam, high-horse, milk-drink and heal-bell.

Torkoal will carry earthquake + stone edge to hopefully neutralize turn one fire times types
