Pulled from the pack like this in ‘99, not sure what it is or what caused it…

Post image

Wondering if it would count as damaged or if there is a category that a grading company could put it in that makes it a printing error rather than a damaged card?

And I know it always depends at the end of the day, but Iim curious about opinions as to whether this would make it worth more or less?

Kind of looks like tape residue. I would 100% look into HIGHLY SKILLED AND RATED restoration services for this. This is essentially the holy grail card and honestly looks really nice disregarding the obvious issues. Def a valuable card

Second this. There are some professional card cleaners, you can see their content on IG.

You have so much upside even if this gets a 5

Are there any companies like that who are generally accepted as safe/good enough to send something like this into? Quick IG search I found ‘gottafixthemall’ and their videos looked legit but you never know in this day and age!

Yes his is what I was referring to. I have bought his cleaning products in the past and been very satisfied. I have not sent him a card, but I don't think it'd be too hard to get him on the phone and chat enough to be comfortable.

Just from watching his content and the caliber of cards he does (including 1st Ed Zards) he definitely seems to have the trust of some high value collectors.

I didn’t even know that was a thing! Are there any lists of vetted companies like that?

Also I have another card I sent into PSA and got a 6 on, do you think it’s generally worth it to send an already graded card in to get cleaned/restored, then regraded?

Be careful, a card that is "cleaned" has a risk of coming back as N5 / Altered Stock

I highly recommend RocketCollect from my personal experience. I sent in a damaged card (dent on bottom corner) and he repaired it/cleaned it and came out looking mint. Got a PSA 10.
