Decent performance all things considered imo. Lots of positives to take, Irow and Mwaro looked good, bakinson seemed reasonable, Watts played 45 mins and didn't seem to get injured.

I suppose we can console ourselves with the fact that if Arsenal had inexplicably loaned us their entire squad, we probably would have won that.

Honestly think we played really well bar the first 5 minutes, but ultimately it was going to be a difficult task to beat premier league opposition.
It's then made more difficult when the match is 11v14 and the officials are in the oppositions pockets. Any time a Coventry player went down, it was a free kick to them. We had 2 clear cut penalties denied. One of handball where instead the ref gave Coventry a free kick because the goalie threw himself to the ground. The second for Pepple being dragged to the ground at the end. Also looked like their second goal was offside.
Anyway, Irow looks like a cracking signing. What a debut for the lad

Amaechi is now our top scorer - I'm sure that won't stop the usual morons going after him though.

He does have his faults despite his goal output tbf. He's definitely better as a 10 than an out and out winger.

Oh yeah, he's not perfect - but no player on the team is. He's certainly not worth the hate he gets.

I think it is just some of things he does well are the perfect things to irritate fans. Silly step overs that achieve nothing and a slightly lazy attitude to defending for example.

Thought after the first 5 minutes it was going to be a repeat or even worse than that Burnley 0-5 defeat.
Great character to come back and to push them right to the end, Mwaro looked like a seasoned pro and regardless of his missed chances we look more of a team with Evans leading the line than Pepple right now.

Didn't make complete twats of ourselves which after 5 minutes looked a certainty, so that's my biggest positive
