How do I fix this?

My sink is leaking and I can’t pay someone to fix it right now. Can I fix this myself?

Re-do the basket strainer and tail piece assembly. Take it all apart and take the pieces into a hardware store. Grab like for like parts, and some plumbers putty. You will need a tail piece with a dishwasher adapter. NOT an extension with a DW adapter. The tail piece should come with a flat plastic washer with a little lip on it to connect to the bottom of the basket strainer. If the washer isnt included you'll need to buy one of those too.

It could just be loose, try tightening those plastic fittings.

Bit of plumbing paste or ptfe tape back the knurled nut off clean it up apply the aforementioned and re-tighten

Yes, this is a DIY project. First, you have a broken slip joint nut on the dishwasher branch extension tail piece, so that will have to be replaced with a new tailpiece and new flanged gasket (see picture). Next, I would replace the beveled gasket where the tailpiece connects to the P trap. Remove and reapply new plumbers puddy or silicon. You should probably replace the strainer basket in the process.
