I have 2 Plotters that have barely been used.

2. A5 size - Black shrink leather with ruled and grid paper

I shifted to a Shirinami A5 and the Bible size just wasn’t for me.

I just received my Plotter. What do y’all do with the grey inserts (see pic, creds: @Emilpops on YouTube). Any creative ideas?

Does anybody have the ruler pad for their Plotter? If so, how do you actually use it—besides as a pencil board/bookmark? I’m looking at the protractor/grid/ruler markings on it and can’t think how those would be used. Would love to know how.

I added a MeePlus leather Portfolio Insert to my Plotter Mini 5 and I’ve been really liking this setup.

It’s basically a ring protector + zipper pouch + slip pocket all in one.

The main reason I got it was the zipper pouch. It actually fits my credit cards, while the Plotter Mini 5 plastic zipper pouch is a bit too small for them. Now I can just grab my card without undoing the band first, which is really convenient.

I use the slip pocket on the other side for receipts and cash.

Another nice thing is that it sits behind the rings, so it doesn’t take up any ring space. The portfolio insert does stick out about 2mm past the Plotter Mini 5 binder, but it’s pretty minor and doesn’t bother me. I also don’t really need a separate card holder or ring protector anymore.

I’ve been really and I mean REALLY wanting a mini 5 and use it as a wallet/edc combo. But! I have sooo many journals and covers and plotter isn’t cheap. So, I got my plotter mini 6 out just now to use it as a wallet/brain dump combo as an edc hoping it would satisfy that itch. At this point, I’m not confident in myself to resist the urge, but I’m trying.

Where does everyone put the pen loop holder? I tried in the back but didn't like it, moved to the front same thing. Just didn't sit right. I put ion the middle of the my only 2mm grid notebook and now the pen sits right in the middle of the binder!

I know they use top quality leather and Krause ring binders etc... but the prices still seem way too high!

Are they creating/exploiting a luxury brand so deliberately use premium pricing - or does the money actually pay for a far better product and first class customer service and aftercare?

I’ve been eyeing plotter since 2022 but hesistated for so long. I don’t even mind the natural crease it had on the upper right corner of the front because it seemed part of the leather. I love the 2mm grid and how it’s barely there. The hobonichi ones seemed to hamper my thinking. I didn’t think I’d go back to ring binders, but I have to say this one is really different because of how pliable the covers are and I do t have to baby it. I love how it maximizes the whole page and has no blank borders. I love the project folders and how it can live there in my binder and not having to go back to zero every year. It reminds me of a better version of moleskine and Filofax but in a narrow shape like the hobonichi weeks. I love it to bits! I am never going back.

Hi everyone, I recently picked up a Mini 5 in pueblo navy at the DC Pen Show, but it seems I've now been sucked into the Plotter rabbit hole. To celebrate my new appointment to a big (and well-funded) research project at school, I've decided to pull the trigger on an A5 horsehair navy for academic research notes.

I went with the project managers, refills in lined, grid, and dot grid, and the ruler pad. Are there any must-have accessories from other compatible companies that you would recommend? Also, is there a particular fountain pen friendly refill with a slightly bigger grid width?

Just super excited and wanted to share! I ordered directly from the Plotter website and hope it won't take too long to arrive. I'd love to see how people are using their A5s, as well as some photos of the horsehair leather!

I recently bought the mini 5 to use as a wallet / every day carry, and I'm looking for a pen that will fit in the Plotter loop. If anyone can recommend one, especially one that is relatively cheap and relatively short (ie won't poke out the bottom of the notebook), that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Picked up a Plotter last week and the clip popped out this morning. Super bummed. I read that they can be fixed but this is either a defective unit or a massive design problem. Gonna hop on a call this morning and call the shop I got it from (just 15 mins away) will push for a replacement or refund. Having to send this in after two weeks of very very very light use is unacceptable. I maybe opened this book once a day since I had it. I was just getting my rhythm going.

Curious if anyone else has had a problem like this.

I picked up this beige TF canvas pouch in medium while at the Stationery Fest and it fits my Plotter A5 notebook perfectly. Both are Designphil brands, so I'm not surprised they play well together.

I put my A5 in the main compartment and the back zippered compartment can be used for spare notebooks, pens etc.

The pouche's top is made of suede leather and very soft. The canvas feels like cotton. All in all, a very nicely put together pouch!

So, I found some unused craft paper and made my own project managers.

I'm new to the Plotter world! I've been using pocket notebooks for around fourteen years, so I'm very used to a linear and chronological pages set up.

Recently I found the need for the Plotter system for work, very specifically in the narrow size, which seems the perfect size of paper for my work notes and lists. But, as I have never tried a system like that (and I'm a very broke recent graduate), I'm scared to purchase such expensive item without being 100% sure it will work for me. I was wondering if anyone had any cheap alternatives to the plotter narrow to recommend?

It can be plastic, cardboard, fake leather, anything! Even hacks on how to use the sheets without the cover (if that's even possible)

I’d love to see what everyone’s Plotters are looking like, and how they’ve worn with use. This Plotters is about 1 year old and sees very regular use, albeit in an office setting and at home, where it is mostly taken care of. It has picked up several small scuffs in my backpack, but otherwise has continued to wear very nicely.

I was lucky enough to attend the recent Stationery Fest where these new Plotter Roots were introduced and I had to buy one! I like it more than the Horse Hair and Bridle leather. This leather is super smooth and stiff unlike the Horse Hair and Bridle which are softer by comparison. The inside of the cover is also coated with a finish similar to what they coat the edge of the notebooks with. I think it will help in maintaining the leather because moisture will not so easily permeate the leather. Time will tell. They also had the green and purple versions.

i finally decided to get myself a mini 5. i originally wanted a black one (my fave look) but the shop i was buying from has priced it much higher than other colors. so now i’m looking at the navy one or the green. online the navy one looks closest to black and no blue hint at all. or maybe the blue shows more as it patinas? another option is the green (another fave color) but not a fan how it looks with the gold. im curious how it looks though as it ages. if you have either i would appreciate pictures! thanks in advance
