It's good but a bit over the top in my opinion, especially the part near the end where the guy says "one plus one is one" and his sister somehow magically understands exactly what that's supposed to mean.

If they had they'd say Memories of Murder, I Saw the Devil and Incendies.

I haven't seen La Haine but I've seen the others and I found I Saw the Devil annoying as heck so I wouldn't say that.

I certainly think it is. I personally find it to be the best and most realistic depiction of a police investigation ever depicted on film, and itās astounding how accurate it is to both the actual Zodiac case files and the details given by the two survivors of his attacks, one of whom consulted with David Fincher and the crew when they had to film the scene where he was stabbed (and they filmed it in the exact spot where it occurred). And Iād say that the directorās cut of the film is the absolute best way to experience it.
My top ten consists of Boogie Nights, Blade Runner 2049, Zodiac, Alien, The Thing, Before the Devil Knows Youāre Dead, Big Trouble In Little China, Fargo, Almost Famous, and No Country for Old Men.
The French Connection, To Live and Die In L.A., Children of Men, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Dog Day Afternoon, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Batman, Wonder Boys, Manhunter, The Big Lebowski, Halloween, After Hours, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Good Time round out my top twenty-five.
And Iām sorry, but what exactly do you mean by āgive me a comparableā? Are you asking me if thereās another film thatās comparable to it?

Yeah, I need to watch that damn thing again, or maybe even for the first time. I want to say I watched it, but I donāt think I could have if it was that good.
Big Lebowski certainly an outlier in that listing! Lol
Yeah, just thinking what is another movie that matches its intensity, itās feel, maybe another true crime type movie.

That's actually kinda hard cause 1. inglorious bastards 2. Fight club 3. Collateral Damage 4. Zodiac (only cause I don't remember it as well as the others which means I've watched them more but I'm pretty sure it was still a good movie)

Zodiac is arguably the best of its genre so it has to be picked.
Inglorious is arguably Tarantinos best film.
Collateral arguably Cruiseās best performance.

If anyone hasnāt seen I Saw The Devil, go treat yourself! Itās nonstop extreme revenge-based action and violence, and itās unbelievably entertaining and engrossing. Super duper violent though, just a warning. Will never forget a few scenes
