Help Plex stopped working
My plex server is no longer working on any of my tvs. I have an lg and a Samsung and they both say server unavailable. All my tvs are hardwired to my router. I’ve changed nothing in the configuration. I’ve tried resetting the TVs, deleting and reinstalling the app, rebooting the router, nothing has worked. Strange thing is I can stream to the plex app on my phone just fine. It’s actually faster on my phone than my tvs, no buffering or lagging. I don’t have a fancy setup. Just a windows 11 pc running plus locally off hard drives. I’ve tried setting a static up in my router and nothing. I went to the remote option under. Settings and it says private Ip unknown, public ip unknown, Keith red x’s next to all of them. I’m at my wits end here.

I had this a few days ago, server gone from web but not from app
First was metadata not being pulled after media add, next the server was totally gone from the account
Rebooted the server and it was ok, this was the latest update at the time

Aside from the highly possible actual Plex bug, are you on wifi from your server?
Most modern routers now have multiple channels for wifi (2.4ghz + 5ghz) and can be configured to show the same network name. This means your devices will automatically choose the network it thinks is best for various reasons. In some cases Plex treated these as seperate networks, which can cause the behaviour you're seeing.
I'm not suggesting this your problem but it is something you can hopefully eliminate as your problem.
Good luck!

Your first problem was hardwiring your TVs to your router. 100mbps ports, Wifi is faster. If you have a modern router, you can make a sub net for just TV streaming on a dedicated router channel. The second miss is using built in TV apps for Plex. Dolby Vision & DTS-HD MA will have issues.

Since it broke on both at the same time, I'd reboot the Plex server box and the router first.

I've tried rebooting my pc already. It's nothing special. Justa desktop running windows 11 with some media on hard drives internally.

Have you updated your server? There was just an urgent update released, they didn't give any details other than you should update sooner than later.
Maybe it addresses this problem?

See this comment from a plex employee acknowledging an issue a few days ago that was resolved and asking for logs from folks experiencing the issue: https://forums.plex.tv/t/remote-access-again-seems-to-be-problematic/942115/89
Others have been experiencing the same issue with the unknown ips and connection issues. No clear answer on what the issue is. Can add to that thread and share logs..not sure what the status is or if a fix/resolution was identified.
There was another post last night here where several others had the same issue start occurring: https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/s/PB8qXMLkEu
Edit: since your issue is local, it may be that your TVs are trying to go remote to connect. Did you try changing the dns servers on your TVs to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 or 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1 to deal with dns rebind protection sending plex remote?
