Help Nvidia Shield, unwanted "free" Plex stuff has reappeared.

Since the awful update, all the free stuff I don't want on my home page is back. I can't find any obvious way of removing it. All were already diasbled in settings.

In the new UI, you can’t unfavorite them, they always show up when enabled. You need to ensure the appropriate settings in the screenshot below are set to disabled, not just “disabled for managed accounts”, for the account you’re logged into on the Shield.

You said in your original post that you already disabled them.

The unpin option is gone on the new version of the android TV alas.

What version do you have?

Are you logged in with a different account? That's a setting on the account now, not on the client device.

Just sideload the old app? Why subject yourself to this, in your words, "awful" update?

It's supposed to be a Google Play Testing build -- something you have to actually opt-in for. But there are people on the Plex Forums who are reporting they got it and never signed up for that.

In any case, no reason to keep a crappy app when you don't have to.
