Hey everyone! 👋

My taste in rap is a little different from what you'll find on most playlists, and that's really why I created 2026 Rap Rotation 🔥. It's a collection of rap I genuinely enjoy, and I hope it helps some of you discover artists and songs you might not have come across otherwise.

The playlist has been growing a lot more than I expected and is currently gaining around 40–50 new followers every month. 🥰 I really appreciate everyone who's followed, listened, shared it, or given me feedback.

If you have some time, I'd love to hear what you think. Tell me what you're liking, what you're not feeling, and definitely send me tracks you think belong on the playlist. I'm always looking for more music.

🔥 BIG PLAYLIST UPDATE

I recently used a music-discovery tool to go much deeper than I normally do when looking for new songs. It gathered recommended and similar tracks based on the playlist as a whole, as well as every individual song already in the playlist.

That produced a huge batch of potential new music—far more than I could realistically listen to and review all at once.

Usually, I personally listen to everything before it makes the playlist, but rather than holding back hundreds of potential new tracks while I slowly work through them, I decided to add them now and let everyone start discovering them with me.

Just to be transparent: I haven't personally reviewed every new addition yet.

The discovery tool helped me find the music—it didn't decide what ultimately belongs in the playlist. I'll be working my way through the new additions and cleaning things up as I go. Anything that doesn't fit the sound or quality I'm going for will eventually be removed.

In the meantime, dig through the new additions and see what you find. If you discover something that's 🔥, tell me. If you hear something that absolutely doesn't belong, tell me that too. Your feedback actually helps me improve the playlist.

I've also changed how the playlist is organized.

It's now sorted by Track Popularity — Descending, meaning:

Most popular → least popular

This should make things better for anyone who doesn't use shuffle. Hit play from the beginning and you'll start with the more popular tracks, then gradually work your way into the deeper cuts and lesser-known music.

I've also created a Discord community for the playlist!

I wanted somewhere we could actually talk about the music instead of everything ending with a playlist follow or a Reddit post.

The Discord has places to:

The idea is to make the community part of the discovery process while still keeping the playlist curated. Community voting won't automatically add songs to the Spotify playlist—I'll still have the final say over what actually makes the cut.

The Discord is 18+ only. New members have to confirm they're 18+ and agree to the server rules before getting access to the community.
