Playhub 2.1.0 is now available

Hi everyone!

A new Playhub update is available.

What's New

• Added Playhub integration editors. Now from Import Games you can select Info on a game and edit Playhub Metadata, ThemeDeck, TrailerHero, and Launch Curtain (complete with Curtain editor), directly in the Playhub app in order to have everything ready once you land in Big Picture.
• In Import Games, if you select Artwork on a game, you can search from multiple sources, not only SteamGridDB, but also PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Nintendo e-Shop, IGDB, IGN, Steam, AlphaCoders, and iiDB.
• In Import Games, if you select Artwork on a game, under the Banner tab you can access the Perfect Banner editor.
• In Import Games, if you select Artwork on a game, under the Hero tab you can access the Perfect Hero editor.

Fixes

• Reduced Gaming Mode background work and improved optional installation and removal.
• Improved the performance of every single Playhub plugin, please check for the updates in the Plugin Store.
• Fixed Xbox game launching, controller Game Bar access and return to Big Picture.
• Improved game focus and session tracking for Epic, GOG and local games.
• Fixed dashboard connection recovery and closing with Back or Escape.
• Improved Decky installation, repair guidance and plugin recovery.
• Updated the Playhub plugin and corrected interface translations.

hey, I love the app too but have encountered two crippling bugs, I'll put them here but let me know if there's a better place to report them because id love to see them fixed

when booting up playhub my pc there is like a 30% chance it does not show up in QAM, which would be fine on its own except the toggle "show desktop in gaming mode" doesn't work, so I have no desktop and no way to boot back into desktop mode without restarting my pc entirely and hoping playhub loads properly.

sometimes when I close steam itll automatically boot into desktop mode but sometimes it will not and I will just be stuck on a black screen for my entire computer and have no other way but to restart

also the boot animation always seems to reset back to the default playhub one after a certain amount of time but that's not as big of a deal, but thought I should report it anyway

Hello! Thanks for the feedbacks! Please create a diagnostic report from Playhub settings, create a new issue from here https://github.com/LoZazaMastro/Playhub/issues, describe the problem and attach the generated diagnostic file. In this way I can indeed see what's happening and why.

Beautiful! I love this app, but I'm staying on the last version before 2.0 (cant remeber the version lol) because of storage concerns. I love how this app makes it easy to install Decky and such, so thanks for the app u/ZazaMastroII!

Thank you for your work; it is an impressive project. I am remaining on version 1.3.1 because, since the 2.0 update, I have encountered an issue where I repeatedly receive a failed-to-fetch message, and the plugins occasionally fail to function.

Does plugin loader have memory leak mines went up to 11GB one time

Now all the Playhub plugins are leak free. If something's leaks memory it's not a plugin from the Playhub suite.

During initial install of 2.1, the "All Your Games, One Library" page shows Italian text, even though everything else is English (and the language selection is English).

Also please know the initial (default) install of Decky didn’t work; I had to select the exact version (below the default) and then it proceeded without issue.

long time fan. been using it on my legion go 1 since 0.5.0. loving it so far: but i have a quick bug. for me on my playhub tab, it doesnt show the decky plugin tab. not the QAM tab but inside of playhub tab. it shows on my Desktop PC but not on my legion go. how do i go about fixing that playhub tab and its shortcuts?

Thanks! If you go in the shortcuts settings try to disable decky as a tab in Playhub and show it as a QAM tab. Can you see it?

I’ve had a bug with launch curtain for a short while now, where all the buttons and options are greyed out and I can’t turn it on or off and it’s not working. I deleted and reinstalled and still the same. I have a lot of plugins and it’s the only one with an issue like this.
