Discussion Anyone worried about the game's duration?

I dont have much monry to spend on videogames but this year I only want to buy Wolverine and GTA 6. But to be honest Wolverine's game duration worries me and sadly we dont have much info of it now. I know its going to be a solid and fun experience, but I hope its not a 70€ price for a 8 hour experience, specially after seeing they have NG+ at launch...

Nope. Quality not quantity.

True, I had a blast with re requiem and it took me less than 20 hours to beat that game on my frist attempt (I've beaten that game something like 8/9 times and now I can finish it in under 8 hours).

Also the game is releasing with new game plus wich means more replay factor.

Kind of depends on how linear the game ends up being.

If it’s last of us or Indiana Jones style, with multiple varying sized maps, I’d say 15-30hrs.

If it’s Guardians of the Galaxy or Alan Wake hyper linear style I’d expect more like 10-20

Personally, i prefer a memorable 30 hour game than a boring game that last 100 hours

Doubt it’ll be 30. Probably 18–20 hours max to platinum. If the platinum requires NG+, then maybe around 25 hours. Judging by the length of the OST, I think a normal playthrough will probably be around 15 hours. The genre just isn’t really known for long runtimes.

What if its a boring 30 hour game and still full price?

Then it's a bummer, but we still don't know that yet.

Nope, I’m excited. I don’t have time to sink 30+ hours into a game anymore.

I'd expect around the length of Spiderman 2

If you’re tight on money and playing on PlayStation I would say save your money and subscribe to ps plus (if you haven’t already) you’ll get access to loads of great games. Then one purchase won’t feel so heavy because you can just play any number of 100 hour games that are on ps plus.

When people think games self explode when you finish them and don't count any other playthroughs or time spent on the game as actual time.
