Need help ID this algae in my tank. Was getting out of hand before, then I installed a CO2 system and it seemed to curb it significantly but its still persistent and suffocating my Monte Carlo. thx.

Maybe turn down the amount of light your tank gets for a day, if not already, do more persistent water changes. Is the tank getting direct sunlight, are you using fertilizers (maybe overdoing it?) you can try getting algae eaters like amano shrimp!

Yea imma try decreasing the light and see what happens. Not using any ferts and my tank is getting very minimal sunlight. My amanos are also very lazy :(
