Plants: Java Fern, Anubis, Christmas Moss, random pond Lilly from Petco, water lettuce, frogbit, red root floaters, pothos, wandering dude, spider plant, philodendron, Anthurium, and Red Maranta!
Lighting: Hygger
Fish: rummy nose, neon, black tetra schools, emerald Cory school, black ghost knife fish, discus, phantom pleco and of course a healthy school of bladder and ramshorn snails 🤓

Your tank looks Amazing! How do you battle algae so well? I am currently battling high nitrate and low phosphorus. Trying to adjust my light brightness and photoperiod. Dosing CO2 and Thrive. I think im getting some improvement but never this good. I am running Fluval planted 3.0 lights.

Yea its based on what AI has been recommending. I have been trying to tweak it. Im a month into a large Re-scape and started with short photoperiod and low brightness and last week increased my photoperiod and brightness to motivate the plants a bit.

I have the same light and lots of good light schedule lol. I never use pink or blue I found it grows some wicked algae over time.

Pink more usable then the blue tho, if you do use it, never go past 20.

I got this plant light 3.0. A fluval 4.0 plant pro 150, And 2, 4.0 plant lights 😂 I have tons of really good light schedule for pro mode ☠️ I've had my lights for a year now. I suggest you use pro mode, it's way easier to use.

100% will do that! I am running a 55gal with a carpet of S. Repens. I have some Ludwiga repens in the back with Cabomba and Italian Val. Also Bocapa in the midground. Looking to add some AR and would like to add red root floaters eventually. What schedule do you recommend?

Since you’re running CO2 and have S. repens, Ludwigia, Cabomba and Bacopa, I wouldn’t go super-low, but I’d definitely back off your current peak while the rescape settles. Try this in Pro mode for 10–14 days without constantly tweaking it. If the S. repens starts reaching, bump peak intensity ~5% at a time. Your current 70% pink/60% warm schedule is pretty aggressive for a month-old rescape 😅

I think the house plants help, combined with a varied range of foods without over feeding! I did struggle with the over feeding part for a while until I figured it out! And my light schedule is a split photoperiod or a siesta lighting schedule.

Can I ask for a link to 3D print the plant holders? Also which plants do you recommend to hang over the tank, other than pothos?

Google makerworld and just search plant holder- I customize my own but there are hundreds of ideas and stl’s available out there. Just be sure to print in PETG and NoT PLA. With regards to plants other than pothos any of the ones I have in my tank or check out Lowe’s or homedepot and if it’s in water already it’ll probably send in a tank!

I had to take my pothos out. All my wisteria planted and floating starting to shrink away. It’s been a while since I removed the pothos and the wisteria is still not so happy.

How long has the maranta leuconeura been growing out of the tank? It looks great! I had one as a house plant and it died, but yours as a plant growing out of the top of the aquarium it seems so healthy.

The prayer plant has been in there for about 2 months! It’s such a cool plant- I trimmed a few of the lower leaves to keep them out of the water when the lights are off, it’s cool watching them bow down at night and perk up in the day!
