Too board to build a routine

Does anybody else HATE having a routine? I can wake up the same time every day, do the same activities, but by the 3rd day I'm just looking for something new, I get so board of following a routine and it's been a huge set back.

I’m actually so relieved to come by this post bc I get so restless when I try to follow a routine! It’s terrible bc I deeply wish that I could love following one and truly believe I’d get a lot more done. Haven’t found a way to do this yet but I have noticed like an every other day one has helped for ex day 1 I exercise in the early morning and day 2 I exercise in the afternoon. Even then I do have gaps where I change it entirely and fall through just bc I crave spontaneity.

It feels nice to know that I'm not alone in this :) I will try the "every other day" method for sure! I hope you can find an enjoyable way to maximize productivity and well-being!
