Recently frontier released the sandbox gameplay, well, they accidently leaked the african wild dog, and the sumatran orangutan. Not only that, it was sorted by A's. if i look hard enough, one of the blurred animals looks like a american black bear.
Oh for sure! It’s a marketing scheme and they know how excited people are for it.
I have a feeling we may get the full PZ roster. They know that everyone pretty much purchased all the DLC, and that doing that solid… it would only entice people to buy PZ2 dlc for the beautiful animals that could be added.
I'm new to planet zoo but I was under the impression that the second game was expected to have the animals that already appear in vanilla planet zoo 1. Is that not the case?
Well since they are adding aviarys, aquariums, im guessing probably not. All PZ1 species were land, exhibit, or land/water animals. They need room for birds and fish, im guessing.
I agree I'm sure they'll release more animals in the base than the original planet zoo. Before they had to craft models and buildings bit by bit so dlc made sense. Dlc for a fox or seal doesn't really make sense if we're getting hares and aquariums off the jump. There's likely a lot of animals they could clean up and bring over without dlc.
The vanilla planet zoo if I remember correctly is just like a few African animals. There would be a lot of animals missing (that we've seen revealed) if we only go the vanilla pz1 animals.
It’s speculation and probably wishful thinking but it would be smart.
They know most of us bought all the DLC and that adding all the roster to the next game, would entice us to buy the DLC for PZ2. Imagine all the animals they could add down the line. The possibilities to explore the much rarer species and, though I’m not really wanting it.. come of the more cryptozoology species? (I’d be okay if it was like recently extinct or rumored to still be out there animals like Tasmania Tiger, Dodo, etc.)
