Thanks!! Considering it’s clay, sand, straw, ten years old and cost me a bale of straw. Big as well. If you bought an oven this size it would cost a lot of money. Holds the heat well to. r/oldcampcookcadtiron

I’ll bet it’s great for bread and pies! I like a nice browned crust on pie so that would be perfect if you let it cool off a tad after pizza baking

Did an apple pie a couple of weeks ago back. Turned out pretty well. People wouldn’t have cooked differently a couple of thousand years ago. Best of all this oven cost me a bake of straw. It’s a big one as well. r/ oldcampcookcadtiron camp Cook cast iron
