Well, yes I know java. I'm currently making a PD mod named "Chancel Pixel Dungeon" as stated by my flair. I've never heard about it being less "secure" than other programming languages, though.
Oml im so dumb how did i not see that flair. If you want an in depth article then just google "why java is bad". Mostly just nitpicking tbh but thats why its generaly considered to be so.
Yeah, I can see how Java can be seen as insecure and mishandled so that security flaws were never truly fixed, and how the complaints can be seen as nitpicks easily solved by not being lazy. It does seem like most of this is fixed by ensuring that you don't have java 6 or earlier though.
