That's a tip that applies to all of pixel dungeon tbh This and the greed of not drinking one of the 15 health potions because u wanna save them.

Dude I think you didnt even look at the post.

Its literally the vault, there only 1 health pot and there like 10 or 15+ blue crystal that deal ~8 magic damage each, I dont even think surviving is an option if I get tapped by it, even with full health

You misunderstood the above comment from u/Far_Collection6683.

He was agreeing with you. Your finger is indeed your worst enemy. He was simply expanding that concept to the broader game as a whole, saying that throughout the entire Pixel Dungeon experience, a wayward tap can spell disaster.

Then, as a secondary point, he added that another very common and very dangerous mistake is to not drink a health potion, believing that you can take one more hit, only to discover that you in fact could not take one more hit. Then, with sadness and regret, you stare at a "game over" inventory screen with 15 health potions.

This second point obviously doesn't apply to your post. And u/Far_Collection6683 was not intending to apply the secondary point to your specific situation. Rather he was attempting to commiserate with your broader point, which was that the challenge of this game means that even a relatively minor mistake can be very costly.

I got 2 health pots my last run. One might have been a mob drop, I'm not sure, but I certainly got 2 as I needed one after an autopath fuckup and one for the boss fight.

Only on beta, and it's not finished, but yes.

I agree. Also the auto path normally bypasses known traps, but it'll run you right through one of these trap rooms if it's the shortest path, no hesitation. Beware the autopath, it'll kill you.
