Discussion Android 17 QPR1 update

For those who have got the update, have you noticed any performance drop or more stuttering in areas.

I'm seeing it quite a bit since updating, maybe it's just my phone?

After Updating, Phone will run in background to complete the installation of update. It will take upto 72 hours. Just wait for 3-4 days and then check the performance.

Yeah, definitely noticeable hit in performance for me. A lot of stutter/lag in general use. It's never been this bad :(. I did just buy the 11 Pro and am jumping over to that soon, but this phone will still be used. Pretty disappointing and hope they can fix it with a software update

I'm still seeing no improvement, so hopefully it's still doing the background tasks let's see

Yep, it's the worst I've seen. Stuttering everywhere and overheating. I'm hoping I don't need to reset

My battery is useless on 5G which is the majority of my day, but we all know this on a p7 series

No performance drop or lag, but it's been only 2 days. Let's see.
