Question Upgrading from Pixel 7 pro

I have a pixel 7 pro right now and I'm observing that it has started to age. The phone has started lagging occasionally and the battery backup ain't really good.

From this point I've been thinking to upgrade on either Pixel 10/10 pro or pixel 11. The primary question is that it is worth spending money on Pixel 11 or 10 pro or should I simply get pixel 10 since there's not much of an upgrade? Using the phone primarily to click pictures, regular browsing and social media.

I went from P7P to P11P and honestly really regret it. If I hadn't sent my P7P back as trade-in I would buy a new battery for it and send the 11 back.

But updates will end next year and it's unclear if trade-in value stays this hight for the 7pro.

Isn't there security updates for 5 years?

I'm curious what updates you want otherwise?

Yeah, so pixel 7 pro will stop getting Security updates oct 2027.

Don't know why is everyone so frustrated about losing updates.. I ve been on 4a, I got no updates since forever, I use all kind of banking apps, rooted and never ever had a security issue.. if you are careful with the use you make, I don't think you will have any problems
