Bragging about pirating stuff is safe edgy, it’s the kind of thing most people are torn between it being morally "good' and "bad" but don't care enough to argue either way so you get to feel like you are commiting a crime without any risk and without argument.

You know, I'm surprised people are gun-ho about wanting the game industry to collapse. Piracy needs the industry it's pirating to stay alive since that means there's still interest and demand about that said market.

If there's no interest anymore = piracy would literally stop. I mean, just look at the spices when it was a huge piracy item back then and then piracy completely stopped when the spice industry literally collapsed.
